UPDATE

The last couple of days have been a bit nerve racking for me. The whole hacking thing is disturbing to me. I am not going to blame anyone, because I have no hard proof evidence. Hacking is 100% illegal. Yes, I could tell you that my father-in-law said, the Police or FBI would be interested in this, but that would be a lie. Why? Because, there are murderers, rapes, abductions, deadly accidents, and numerous other crimes that take precedence and I do not have an ego that would even suggest that either organization would be interested. I have had a law enforcement friend look into it, but there wasn’t anything he could really do. He has his suspicions on what he found, but that is all it is…no hard proof evidence. My husbands laptop is totally messed up, so congratulations for that.

Matthew and I spoke briefly yesterday, and I told him that I no longer have the desire to be a moderator on the site and the events that have occurred. Vera doesn’t have the time. I asked Matthew when he would be back and he said, things have gotten so bad that he might have to move. I think the site has lost what he originally brought to the table. He was witty and held Candy and everyone else accountable. So, with that said…

The time has come to pass the torch to a new blog and moderator. I am putting the link at the top of this blog and the bottom of this thread. We will leave this blog up for people to refer back to, if needed. We have enjoyed having this site and interacting with 90% of you. Keep holding Candy accountable. I still plan to visit the new site and comment. Matthew said, he will take the time on a Sunday and make at least one comment. I am sure Vera will continue to comment.

Please be kind to the new Moderators. They are taking their time to continue this. If they want to remain anonymous, as we did, please respect that. No one knows what Candy is really capable of doing and none of us want a close-up of our house on her next blog. Please do not come up with conspiracies, because there are none. I am telling you 100% the truth. So, with lots of sadness, I say farewell as a Moderators.

This is for Clare so she doesn't have to scroll

All, I do not know how to make myself more clear, but I am not angry or any of the other things you have mentioned. I stated everything I had to say and I will not rehash it. Angie, none of the moderators are po'd at anyone on here. I am not getting on here very often, so I will post a new one when I have the chance.

On My Last Damn Nerve

Talk about beating some poor dead horse.

Did this blog actually go on for like 200 comments on that poor women's dress size. Seriously.

We all know she is pathological. Why were we debating something sooo freaking long that really held no freaking merit anyway. So who hasn't shaved a few pounds off on their drivers license? She's a four, no she's a 12. Who the hell cares?

I think it has been said here, like I don't know, 50 times??? We don't care about her domestic skills. Just her lies. Frankly, I think I put her to shame. I could make Martha Stewart look lazy. You want domestic tips ladies ask Vera. You want tips on how to keep your man ("MAN" not hubby, cause that's just freakin stupid.) Ask Vera. And I'll put it to you straight.

On to a real comment about Candy. We don't care if she worshiped pigs on her front lawn, but don't damn the rest of the us to hell in the process. Accept the fact that you might not know everything. Accept the fact that just because the book you chose to read TODAY isn't the one sure source of knowledge in the universe. For example our latest read on how we got the bible. Are you really that blind? I think we all know the answer to that. She custom made those blinders herself with a direct order from her God, (not our God, cause I bow to a loving, all accepting one.)

But hey sometimes life is easier with blinders on. And Vera doesn't blame her that. Vera actually found the whole Candy site humorous. Found it entertaining. Found her a wee bit full of herself, condescending and arrogant, but funny as hell to watch. It was my favorite internet show.

Then I had a friend start this one. And now the reruns her are starting to kill me.

Have a nice day!

Once the comments get to around 300, I will put a new quick post up for easier commenting.

The Brauer Meez parties are the place to be for entertainment....not a religious experience.

New topic people!!! This is a quick post and I have no time to proofread, so be easy! I am the third commentator.

So, I decided to see what a Meez party was all about. After finally getting in last night, due to overcrowding, I see eight people. Count them…..eight. It seems that is the limit she allows. Two of the eight happened to be Erik and Candy. Pick yourself up please from the shock. Candy was dressed in a purple, sleeveless “look at me” dress and I believe she had “look at me” hair too. They were side by side dancing. Candy would constantly use the remote for new music. Some lady was next to Eric and wouldn’t shut up for two seconds. She was going on and on about how she wanted her husband saved and asking Erik a thousand questions. It was borderline “hitting” on his Minutemann’s meez. Then, Erik and Candy start line dancing “rock” style. That had to have been the funniest thing I have ever seen. Their meez were throwing themselves around and gyrating and I know there is nothing in the KJV that condones that behavior. After that, Candy kept shouting different phrases. One was “consume us in your cleansing fire!” Then, someone came in and said, they were saved from being a Mormon and Candy responded how happy she was because Mormons have ties to Wicca. Seriously, Candy….Wicca? That woman is so off her rocker. Amanda showed up (not ours) and Erik and Candy started praising her. They told her how much respect they had for her for telling it like it is. Amanda just soaked it all in and thanked them so much. One meez started crying because the spirit was moving in there. The only religious thing I saw the whole evening was youtube religious videos. I seriously doubt any teenagers showed up either. If you have not been to a praise party, you must see one. It is worth the wasted time.

Update...I really feel so out of the loop

Sorry for the quick exit without an explanation. I finally, finally have just a couple of minutes to get on the computer and update everyone. I work in the residential home building business, and unless you live in a cave, or dedicate all of your extra time trying to find Candy's work out videos, I think you are aware of how difficult the industry is right now. I have worked in this industry for the last eleven years, and it is truly all I know. It is very desperate times right now for our industry. There are more people who have been laid off than there are currently employed by home builders.

We just recently went through our third round of lay offs, and I can tell they do not get easier, and the length of the sigh of relief gets shorter and shorter. Although we are currently working with a skeleton crew now (meaning that everyone is doing twice as much work for the same pay) work has just been hectic. I am currently working a minimum of twelve our days, as my job duties just doubled (in the blink of an eye, or actually within an hour, each employee layoff appointments were ten minutes apart).

I, honestly (which the Candy heads are incapable of understanding that word), can say that I have not had a chance, up until now, to even look at Candy's nor my blog. I have been that busy.

I apologize for not having the ability to prepare everyone for this sudden turn in my "free" time. I should be able to get a handle on everything with in a couple of weeks, hopefully, but as it stands now I am barely seeing my family, and thus this blog has become a luxury that I just don't have the time to spare.

I will be back, and will continue on. Between now and then I have asked a couple of people to please post on my behalf, for I felt it would be such a waste for this blog to disappear due to my neglect. Plus I would truly miss it along with the conversations with people on it, which I currently do.

I have not gone anywhere, and I will be back and active very soon. I appreciate every one's patience with this, and in advance I have missed communicating with everyone. Things will turn around, they always do, and our industry will pick back up, and gain security again.

Thank you all again, and I will talk to all of you soon.

The Guest...ooh and ahh.

I'm apparently the guest commentor this week. Yeah me.

My name is Vera ---I've commented under another name, but you get the real me.
Some things you all will undoubtedly ask:

I'm Catholic, a convert, grew up Southern Baptist. (ouch I know.)
I'm not really, you know "Super-Catholic", but as far as religions go it's the one I've decided to fly.

I'm a SAHM, public schooling parent of four.

I have a few recent (and some not so recent) things to address over at Nutjob's palace.

From the VTC:

"Amanda is trying to say that her verse is saying Christ had no mother, but it is really referring to Melchizedek.

I did write a comment pointing that out. However, Candy did NOT allow that comment although it too was respectful. Instead she lets Amanda have the last word on that. She also lets Amanda have the last word on my link to Catholic Answers which explains the Catholic perspective on the title Mother of God. - Elena

Elena out of a LARGE amount of quotes and references, only 1 or 2 were from the BIBLE. I really couldn't care less what such and such catechism or so and so person says, I am a follower of CHRIST (and the Bible says He is the Word-God's Word is the Bible- made flesh) not man, so I really don't care one little bit about what man has to say on the matter. And none of that addressed my point of dividing God into separate pieces. So....no, I didn't find that helpful in the least. - Candy

Yea...quotes from pesky men like the early church fathers. Whatever." -Elena

I use this quote to point out the fact TO Candy that just as much as she couldn't care less what such and such....not man has to say about Christ. Ummm sweetie, hold on to your bloomers, but that's kind of what us heathen Catholics have been trying to tell you all along. Live and let Live Sister. And P.S. SHUT UP.

I'll leave arguing her every statement about the Catholics and all you other non KJV readers to the other blogs who do it so well.

Bibles A Plenty
If the number of times you sayyou have read the Bible along with the number you own = heaven. Well then sister you and the folks at the Holiday Inn should be set. Oh that and just about every convict in every prison, I hear they spend a lot of time reading the good book too.

Exercise Tapes
Seriously. You've posted your pictures and your still giving exercise advice.

Okay that was just mean, but my point is this...I own a lot of equipment, videos, used to teach aerobics, have a gym membership, AND a blog. But I don't give exercise advice - or medical advice, but that's a whole other tangent.

And just look at what we have to look forward to from Candy:

"- Praising the Lord: From a Biblical Viewpoint

- Godliness with contentment is great gain

- Why I Keep my Children with me During Church

- The Age of accountability, and those who've never heard...

- Laminin

- Hawiian Happy Face Spider

- Letters on butterfly wings - quote "in awe of thy word" etc.

- Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. How are you treating your temple?

- The law of Reaping and sowing, Deut. 28, faith vs. works, works create treasures and crowns, but cannot get you into heaven, etc.

- How I came to be "kjv only"

- Historical Revisionism

- Mars and the Igigi "

Oooh I get tingly just thinking of that... what was it...Hawiian Happy Face Spider?

Somebody pinch me.

Matthew

Matthew is unavailable due to work commitments. He is not sure when he will be back (possibly in a month) and has asked myself and another to post for him until he returns. If he catches a break, he will post something. He is NOT leaving for good. We have been a part of this from the beginning and both of us post comments frequently. The other commentator is working on a new post and hopefully it will be posted in the next few days. Please be patient!! We appreciate you all staying around....even you heathen Catholics, people who wear pants, have "look at me" hair, and people who work out for hours and still have wrestler arms.

P.S. We are NOT his wife or a relative. I don't want his wife to be blamed for our insanity.

Quick update

I am posting this on behalf of Matthew. There will probably be other people posting updates for him for the next month or so and he will post when he can. At least with this update, everyone won't have to sift through 450+ comments!! So, hang on to your new $2 bookcase because we will be back soon.

Alright keep it up and you will put us out of buisness

Is it just me or have Candy's recent post been a little...uh....boring? Is she trying to wait us out? Has she changed? I think she truly believes that if she is boring for a week then we will go away. Well that might work in the world of Candy, but not in reality. We know Candy it is only a matter of time before you begin you self righteous notion that your way of living and religion is right for everyone. Why not just cut to the chase and continue? I am sure that the other sites are seeing a slow down as well. Surely we are not in a Candy recession?

What an exciting week...sort of

We had a great week last week, and I just don't think it would be fair not to acknowledge it. Not only did we get some great press, but our comments and visitors consistently went through the roof. We were acknowledged by both the VTC and Coffee with Candy, and (drum roll please) a visit from Candy. Not only did we get a post dedicated to us (kind of), but we actually got a visit from the woman herself. We retorted in kind to her comments and answers to our claims. I have yet to see a response back. We got some promises from Candy that were broken quicker than treaties to the American Indians. She stated that she was done posting about catholics for a while, but I am assuming that a while to you and me is a different amount of time, than a while is to Candy. Because, she quickly resumed (the next day) at bashing the Catholics again.

On the other hand, Candy had a rough week. We saw it in her posts. We put enough pressure on her to finally give us some half baked responses back. She did preface by saying she never knew she had justify herself, but I guess we proved that point to her. If you read the comments from the Candyheads, you see it was a rough time for them as well. There were a lot of prayers, and a lot of name calling towards us, but not more than what we all expected.

Candy is really in need of getting it through her head that, although she is slow on criticizing and offending people, we will not leave, and we will remain vigilant. It is only a matter of time (like tomorrow or Wednesday) before she starts her finger pointing and bible throwing. Instead we have all been treated with stories of the great Meez salvation. It must have been wonderful. I just don't know if the salvation counts outside of the Meez god. We have heard about their vacation, boring. We have all been requested to send in our photos of us cleaning house in our dresses.

We were also enlightened by Erik and his post about being a Christians, and the trials and tribulations of his neglectful family. Oh, poor Erik. I can't imagine why they don't like you , or you all don't see eye to eye. It could be that they are sane. It could be that they have tact. It could be that they are capable of having an intelligent conversations that continues to fly directly over your head.

Well aside from that it has been a pretty boring day at keeping the home. We can only sit back, drink some mushroom tea, eat some home made (bacteria laden) yogurt, and wait for the next offensive post by Candy. Is this it? Has she lightened up? Is she turning a new leaf? Has she learned the Golden Rule? Has she learned to turn the other cheek? I am pretty positive that she has not, but you never know, maybe I am wrong.

Okay thanks for the prophecy, but....

From Candy: "After services were over, we were surprised to meet up with the same man who prophesied over Erik at the other church a few weeks ago!"

Okay, for someone so paranoid about being followed and stalked, shouldn't this guy catch some heat? I mean Candy was so adamant about someone following her and bugging their phones, but takes this stranger with open arms. She didn't find awkward that he showed up at a different church with them again? Where is the FBI during all of this. Shouldn't the local Sheriff be called? So let me see, it really doesn't matter if you are stalked at church just at Walmart?

Thursday, July 10, 2008

Alright let's put our boots on and get back to work.

I would like to preface this retort by saying a couple of things. First and foremost, Candy is sometimes correct when she say that she was not lying. What Candy does is leave out important information. Information like she did not graduate from college, but instead says “I majored in business.” This gives the impression that she graduated. She does this a lot in order to fall back on well I didn’t say this or I didn’t say that. She omits relevant information or embellishes something to the point of creating a false statement, and then when called on it she states that I never said I didn’t live in a mobile home, but instead she just does not allow the comments to be posted, or never answers questions about it.
Secondly, post a link about inventors hall of fame, or send us the official Mensa invitation. Those would clear it up. Thirdly, I know that you offer to allow us to use your turf to ask you questions, but listen little boy who cried wolf, why would we trust you to air our questions in an open manner? Why would we think today, and only today you will not be moderated or delete? Lastly, there was some fluff or BS in this post. Stuff about her children’s SS numbers. We don’t care about that. I don’t care about Jane Austen. I don’t care about Ebay. I only care about the lies that you tell. I am not going to peek through your window to verify you make your own buttermilk. I am not going to ask you and your children to provide their SS numbers. That stuff really doesn’t mean much to me. I care about your embellishments. I care about the ways you exaggerate your life, and your accomplishments, and this is what I will address:

“A few very nice ladies left me some private comments, telling me about some slander about me on the net. I don't have time or interested to get into detail, as I have nothing to prove.“

First of all a lie. You have gone to the site yourself. You could not have found all the small posts and comments that you asked me to delete. You could not have found some of the obscure discussion on the blog, and yes we saw you visiting. Ladies may have informed you, but you were watching. Now I can’t prove this to Ginger or Trish, but anyone with common sense knows.

“HUSBAND, EBAY, AND JOB SITUATION - I don't think our financial status is any one's business, but I will say that hubby got a pay raise, and we are financially just fine. We even have luxuries, such as eating out, and satellite TV. :-) As for hubby's spending on eBay, most of the time, that stuff isn't for us - it's stuff we get for friends, or for work. "
“Yes, the average upper-middle class child may be spoiled, in my opinion. It is not at all rude of me to have this opinion. If a child is getting 200 dollar sneakers, when they could get a good pair for 30 dollars, then that is spoiled, and unnecessary spending. That money could have been put to better use - missionary work, for example. I consider children who get to play video games and watch TV all day to be spoiled. I consider that if children have a little motor on their bicycle, so that they don't have to pedal and get exercise - spoiled. That comment was never an attack on you, nor on small families. Your comment was the ONLY one that took offense. You misunderstood. I didn't publish your comment, because it just didn't make sense with what we were discussing - which was the Duggars - NOT you.”

So I guess it is okay to the children of people with money to call them spoiled, or judge the way their parents spend their money, but it is not okay to question your financial situation or decisions that you make concerning money?? Why is that? This is typical Candy. To condemn some one and then turn around and be appalled when someone does it to her. Did she ever stop and think that maybe $30.00 to her is $200.00 to the next person with a higher financial status? Did she ever stop to consider that a designer t-shirt doesn’t make a kid spoiled or vain, but could just be some of the joys that having money. When you have money you can give things to your children. Did she ever consider that a spoiled child is one that gets everything they want regardless of their actions?? Their are plenty of spoiled poor children. Yes they do not get $200 shoes, but they get their way with supper, play time, night time, etc. Probably not, but then again she doesn’t think that bashing other’s religion, and then taking offense when someone questions hers is hypocritical either.

“MY HOME - It is no secret that we live in a mobile home. “

Yes the truth. Liberating huh? Guess what, I bet you do not hear a peep about this again from us. But you know what you did Candy. You know you were approached by a pleasant comment about your mobile home, and was told how nice it was, and you did not post it. We are not the same sheep that you can, with ease, pull the wool over our eyes.

“MY 2YR OLD'S BROKEN LEG - Yes, a few years ago one of my children - aged 2 at the time, broke his leg after jumping from the top bunk of a bunk bed. There is a lie being perpetuated, that we didn't seek medical help. WRONG. I have no problem with modern medicine, and have taken my children to the doctors. We utilize the dentist, eye doctor, medial doctors, hospitals, etc. - WHENEVER NEEDED. When my child broke his leg, it was in the evening. Under medical advice, we were instructed to wait until the morning, and see, after the swelling went down, if he still couldn't bear weight on his leg. He was given medication for the pain, but he never acted like it hurt much. The next day, he couldn't bear his weight still, so we took him to the hospital for X-Rays. We were ALL expecting a sprain, and were surprised to find a fracture. His leg still had a lot of swelling, so it was wrapped and splinted. The doctor wanted the swelling down more, so the appointment for the cast wasn't set until four days later.”

Well this would make a lot of sense if there wasn’t an internet. When you can go back and find statements such as I never go to the doctor, or I can’t afford to go to the dentist and thus my teeth are falling apart, it really makes changing your past statements difficult. So which is it? Are you lying now, or were you lying then? Either way still a liar. .

ITU CERTIFICATION - I had mentioned somewhere in the past that I'm ITU certified. I never said I'm "IT Certified," because I'm not. ITU was the name of a technical school that used to either be run by Packard Bell, or by the company that was contracting with them that I was working for. I was paid 10 or 11 dollars per hour (don't remember which) to attend this school. It was called IT University. I graduated this school with a diploma, and was considered ITU Certified. I was not allowed to work for the Contract Company and Packard Bell, until after I had been ITU Certified.”

ITU certification exist, but not for individuals. Take a picture of your certification. Post it, but I know what it looks like. I have researched it. Just admit that only two corporations have received ITU certification and it was not IBM or Packard Bell. Oh wait, guess again, you don't get an ITU certificate. You get to post it on your coporate letterhead.

“MODELING SCHOOL “-

I have no doubt this is true. Funny, but it is probably true, considering the application process for modeling school just requires a small rectangular piece of paper with your signature at the bottom called a check.

“MENSA - The Mensa website used to have their official IQ test online. They took it down years ago. I was curious what my IQ was, so I took their test - figuring it was the most accurate I could have access to. Their test said my IQ was 135. A previous test (I think through IVillage?) said I was 140. I figure I'm probably really at 125, but who knows... Anyhow, I was emailed by MENSA after my test scores were reviewed (I didn't know that anyone would be looking at my scores, I just wanted to take a test - for kicks) I was emailed. I was told in that email that I qualified for MENSA, and was invited to apply to join. I didn't want to join, so I didn't apply.”

We have gone over this and over this many a time. You do not get invited to join Mensa. You either qualify or you don’t. Secondly, how could there be an objective test for Mensa on the internet? You could have a Mensa candidate take the test for you, you could research while taking the test, and guess what again, the people at Mensa are geniuses and thus are capable of seeing through the mass charades and cheats that would be accepted into Mensa if it were done over the internet.

“OUR BROWN RECLUSE "PROBLEM" -

I doubt that they were bit, first of all. Secondly, it is just flat out horrible to live with poisonous spiders. Thirdly, you are not a doctor. Quit giving out medical advice: especially when all the doctors and medical sites suggest you should immediately seek medical attention. I would also like to note that it is impossible to turn your water heater up past 120 degrees. That is a national plumbing code requirement. Why you might ask? Because 120 degrees is the temperature that burns babies skin. Hmmm, makes sense right?

MY COLLEGE EDUCATION - I did not graduate college, and never claimed that I did. I joined a correspondence college, called ICS Learning Systems. I was going for a degree in Business Management, but I lost interest and stopped – that’s the plain truth. :-PMY HIGHSCHOOL EDUCATION - I went to public school until after I completed the 10th grade. Then, I home schooled myself through the rest of high school via a correspondence high school called "American High School." They were great, and urged their students to visit their main building whenever possible. I found the correspondence homeschool MUCH harder than public school, and that made it more fun and enriching for me. I will always be thankful for American High.

How do you know if it was harder? You did not go, and seriously how hard can it be when you teach yourself? That really doesn’t require someone challenging you on a daily basis. Who grades your work? There is also a reason there is a law forbidding this type of home schooling as well. Once again leaving out the important part such as I never graduated from college, but I did major in business, for a semester, through the internet, and not an accredited university, and they accept people without a high school diploma. Boooo.

WHY HAVEN'T I SHARED ANY OF THESE SPECIFICS BEFORE? - I never knew I had to "prove" myself. This is a BLOG; my personal writings and musings. I just write what I feel like writing, while still keeping my anonymity. Little did I know that I'd have so many readers. In my very first blog post, I wrote about how I'd probably be the only reader of my blog. Not too long after that, I had 20 regular readers - I thought that was so cute, that anyone would be interested in what I have to write. Then, I leapt to 100, then 1,000, then 2,000, and now my latest Site Meter average has me bouncing between 2,300 visits per day, to 2,500.If they don't find some fault in what I wrote, then they turn to my grammar and spelling. I really don't care about having perfect grammar and spelling on this blog - I type it in a HURRY - blogging is not one of my top priorities…”

Well take the grammar and spelling into the context of you’re a Mensa candidate, and when you profess how smart you are. Secondly, yes your blog does get a lot of hits, but how many are from people like me and my readers. We go to look at the absurdity of you and your followers. Also our blog kills yours on number of comments. We are averaging around 80 per post. I also would like to point out when you qualify yourself as an expert, the only thing that qualifies you is your credentials. Thus, yes you do have to prove yourself when you state you are a genius, your husband is a genius, you’re an expert in theology, you’re a whiz at computers, and your husband is in the inventors hall of fame. Wait a minute, you stated these things qualifying yourself. You were not asked for them. You boasted about this stuff when retorting to a comment. So “I never knew I had to ‘prove’ myself.” doesn’t really apply when we are retorting to your bragging. My God man surely others can see through all this crap.

“An ApologyI am a BLUNT person, so I often just state things bluntly, and sometimes, in harsh terminology. I do not do this intentionally. If my words have ever hurt anyone on this blog, please know it was not intentional, and please accept my apologies. I’m not out to hurt anyone.”

This apology is like kicking someone in the groin and apologizing to them that their balls go in the way of their foot. People did let you know that you offended them, and you continued on the same road. Now after a blog dedicated to refuting you, making you justify your lies, and holding you accountable now you apologize. That is like the rapist in prison finding Jesus in order to get parole.

“Before ending this post, I just want to say that if someone reading this has a genuine inquiry as to my honesty on something that they deem worth even paying attention to, then to please leave me a private comment about it. In my next post, I'll try to address those issues. However, this will not be the norm for this blog, as that is not my vision for this blog. I desire this blog to be an uplifting blog about Christian ladies keeping their homes.Today only will I be asking for these types of comments, and tomorrow only will I address them, and then we will move on... :-)
Meanwhile, Chris, if you are really trying to find "the truth," then please post your questions on my blog, and I will be addressing them later today.”

Why would anyone trust that you would do this openly? Why would anyone think you were sincere? Secondly, I don’t need your lies about your lies to clear stuff up. What you say is easily researched and refuted. You talk about things you have no idea about, and hope that no one will either. This would give you a pass, but we are watching. We are counting the seconds for the next lie. That is the deal with people that are insecure and habitual liars, it is not an easy habit to break. Keep it up and we will continue to have a successful blog.

C "Hmmm. Just a couple of weeks ago candy posted this: "I dedicate the below song to Elena and the other anti-Candy-ites:The Lord has called me to do a very special job, to spread the Gospel of Christ, and I WON'T BACK DOWN... :-D"A A common theme I find with most of my critics, is that they try to guess my motives, then judge me off of that. EVERY single time I've received a comment about my motives - it's been wrong. My motive for putting up the "won't back down" song, was purely as stated - I WON'T BACK DOWN. I will continue to spread the Gospel of Christ, and I won't be stopped. I'm not fighting anyone, or picking a fight with anyone, I'm just stating that my critics are not going to stop me from spreading the good news of Christ to as many people as I possibly can. Furthermore, this let them know that if they are trying to stop me, they are wasting their time, and would be better off pursuing more obtainable goals.

Our goal is to show people the farce you are. It is not an unobtainable goal. I am doing it now. Don’t back down, and we won’t either. I can’t believe I am still on this Tom Petty reference.

"Why do you state your opinions so harshly?"A As I pointed out in yesterday's post, and described in detail in my "Who I Am" post (linked in the sidebar), I am a blunt person, known to be brutally honest. I freely admit to having a lack of tact. :-) Not being very tactful has its downside, but it also has its upside - in that it gives me a lot of credibility. Also, it's up to each individual reader to decide to be insulted at what I write, or to simply brush it off and not worry about it. Being offended and insulted must occur in the mind of the hearer, regardless of the intentions of the speaker/writer, so ultimately, the responsibility is with the person who chooses to be, or not to be, insulted. This is called taking personal responsibility for one's own thoughts and interpretations."

Kind of like screaming fire in a theater huh. This one has several gems in it. First "honesty"….yeah that is all I am going to say about that. Secondly, "credibility"…enough there as well. Yes you have a lack of tact, so do we. So why are your readers so upset? We have been asked about two wrongs don’t make a right, but in order to make this statement there has to be a given to that statement, which is you are wrong to begin with. There is no way to make this argument without conceding that a wrong started the discussion. So I have a question for your readers that comment here with this statement, “Where didn't you step up when the first wrong was committed?” We have heard a lot about courage or the lack there of. Where is the courage to stand up to insulting and offensive statements? I guess that takes an act of bravery, or requires the ability to posses courage in the first place.
Now with this ridiculous statement about it really isn’t Candy that is offensive it is your ears that are offensive. I mean really, talk about talking in circles. So let me get this right. I guy stands up and yell the word “nigger” in public, and the true problem isn’t really with the racist guy screaming offensive language. The true problem is the African American hearer's inability to take “personal responsibility for one’s own thoughts and interpretations.” What the hell? So it isn't really offensive, Catholics are just sensitive for being told that their whole way of life is wrong. Fair enough I guess. So where was this understanding in your email to me Candy? Why did you write that email? You should have known all along that the true issue was with you; in your own thoughts and interpretations. Seriously, what a load of crap that is. Talk about some new age religious mumbo jumbo. It is all with you, not within others, for they can not affect you …ummm…..ummmm….ummm….
So intentions are not important to what is offensive. Well first, that once again has to presuppose that you intended something negative in the first place. This is why you disregard it as not important. Kind of like when you say,
“I have never knowingly lied on my blog. Either way, I don't see what the big deal would be. ???”

“C "Are you going to continue to post the anti-Catholic rhetoric?"A I will continue to post the truth, and spread the Gospel. I will continue to tell the Gospel to Catholics and to Protestants. Like the song says - "I won't back down." However, I've pretty much said all I need to say about the Catholic church here. I think I have it all out on the table, so I don't have anymore RC articles planned for the near future.”

So there is her olive twig to the Catholics, but it will only be a matter of time. . This is why we are here. She will soon either pick a new religion to pick on or she will eventually fall back to bashing the Catholics. And as I said it only took a paragraph before, dun, dun, dun:

" I've also posted about New Age, The Emergent Church movement, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc. However, I have a special place in my heart for Roman Catholics, and love them so dearly. They are people who think they are doing God a service, yet so many of them that I have spoken to (in person) had no idea that salvation is in Christ alone, and that once one has accepted Christ's FREE gift, they are savED, not in a long, drawn out process, of "being saved." I rejoice, because so many souls have come out of the RC religion, and testified to me that my writings had something to do with it. I saw a whole family's life change in just a 6 month period, after they came out of RC, and into true, saving faith. I specifically target the RC Church, because its many members truly think they are Christians, but the very writings of the RC church say that if one believes that Christ alone is their Saviour, and they are savED by faith alone, then they are anathema. So many RCs don't know their own Catechism and writings of the Holy See. There are some truly saved Christians in the RC church, and God is calling them out of it. I am part of that plan. This is part of the path I am to walk, and part of my job from God. I take up my cross and follow Him gladly."

Wow one paragraph and then Indian giving the deal. That has to be some type of record. If you aren’t Catholic bashing, then why do you target them specifically? And don’t worry to all the “New Age, The Emergent Church movement, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.” she has you in her sights too.

“A Please read this for an explanation why. I don't recall your comments, but I would guess you possibly continuously reposted the same thing over and over, so I banned you, in order to have peace in my comments, or you started your comment off with some derogatory, incorrect statement, such as "why do you lie?", or "why do you hate Catholics?" or something along those lines. I will freely tell you that when comments start off with such trivial statements, I tend to reach for that delete key, without reading further.”

Your trivial disagreeing statements will not be posted. I will not acknowledge anything that questions Candy. I don’t think the comments start off like that, but usually start off with “I have to tell you…etc.” or something else that is not just simplistic, but okay I will give you those. How about the others? You know, the ones that are intelligent, refuting questions? Why don’t those get posted?

“Another possibility is that you were not banned, but that your IP range overlaps someone who is banned. However, I currently only have two bans in my IP list, and you're posting now, so it's likely that you thought you were banned the other day, when if fact Haloscan (my commenting system) was down, and no one could comment for a day.”

So you don’t ban huh? You don’t redirect? Could it be that you banned them? Could it be that you did not want to deal with them any longer? I mean you have said it all along. You have said it very bluntly and without tact. You have told people it is your blog and you can post or do what ever you want. So why are you defending that there tough guy? The “I am not one for the wishy washy” person that boasts it everyday on her blog. You contradict your self all the way through these articles. They were posted less than forty eight hours apart. Do you have cognitive dissonance?

"Why can't I find your husband's name in the Inventor's Hall of Fame?"A For one, he was inducted several years before the year 2000, and I'm not sure the online records go beyond that. Second, there are two official Inventor's Hall of Fames, so you may be looking in the wrong one. Third, he wasn't inducted for an invention, but on a theory, and was inducted along with the whole group that was working with him on the theory. Therefore, I don't know if his individual name would appear, or not. I remember we flew down to Atlanta, GA to receive the reward, and flew back home miserable, with severe food poisoning. :-(

So show me the money! Post the link! Tell us where to find this remarkable achievement. Or was it the Not So Important or Worthy or Not Even an Invention But an Idea Inventors Hall of Fame? You know the one no one really knows about, and it doesn’t really count. Guess what again, you can go back past 2000, but even yet guess again, you can also see what type of inventions were inducted just recently. THEY ARE NOT RECENT INVENTIONS. This is not how it works. You don’t even know how it works. You can tell by your stumbling answer, and sad face with the colon and parentheses at the end. What was the theory? You do realize that everyone inducted this year is either seventy or dead? This means these are tried and true Inventions; not theories. You can also see that everyone involved in the invention is credited. Was he the guy that answered the phone at the company where Styrofoam was invented? Is this one of those I am not going to tell you everything to make it sound a lot better. Well in the same defense just because I have been crapping in a toilet for over thirty years doesn’t make me a plumber. Meaning, that you omit the really important stuff to where it becomes a lie. It becomes a half truth, and it is deceptive. It is deceptive and you are knowingly deceiving, but like you said, “I don't see what the big deal would be. ???”

We are very much pro-government, and that is why we support the U.S. Constitution, including my first amendment right on this blog. Government is necessary for the protection of our rights and property. My husband is a member of the Constitution Party, and I am a registered Republican. If we were anti-government, then we would move to some little, backward country. :-?

Why don’t you pay your taxes. You are anti government. Your husband has stated it, and you have posted those statements. Your husband bashes government involvement in just about everything, except keeping the Mexicans out. You posted the Bob Barr for President on your site. He is a Libertarian. They are against government. The Constitution Party is a bunch of strict Constitutionalist; that believe in trimming down our government. Do you know what you believe in, or does “hubby” show you how to vote. Stop making me be an involuntary servant to you and your family. Pay your taxes, render unto Cesar, regardless if you feel it is wrong. It is the law. You have stated that you don’t believe in breaking the law. If you did not hate government you would support it. Remember that on your next drive down the highway, remember it the next time there is a national emergency, remember when you need the police, and remember it when illegal immigrants are pouring into our country and our country cannot afford to stop it. Keep complaining about that, but keep making it worse. Hey Mr. Minuteman: Your argument about the “founding documents” not including “involuntary servitude,” you do remember that all of the signatures on that document were by slave owners right?

“Chris, this is Candy - the one you call a "nutjob." I've had no interest in reading this blog, because I thought it would just be like the VTC blog. However, this blog has become something serious, and I must warn you that the FBI may become involved, because you have pictures of my home, my and my family's full name, and my address published.Furthermore, because of this blog, my family is now in physical danger. Complete strangers are coming to MY HOME, because of this blog and the information posted therein.I don't believe it is your intent to put my life in danger, but alas, this blog IS DOING SUCH.
Furthermore, because of this blog, my family is now in physical danger. Complete strangers are coming to MY HOME, because of this blog and the information posted therein.I am now being physically stalked - because of this blog. There is a person following me and my family around, watching and writing down every little thing we do. I wouldn't doubt if this person stares through my windows, as this is a very sick individual.Chris, I'm hoping you are a person of integrity, and will please just leave me alone, as I nothing against you, I am just a fellow blogger. I'd hope that you have better things to do, rather than slander me.”

Candy I am a person of integrity. None of us wish you harm or hate you. Everyone on this blog has stated that until we are blue in the face. I will not leave you alone. I have plenty against you, and you can read it all here. You are the reason I am a “fellow blogger.” I don’t have better things to do than fight injustice. I personally think it is admirable. You are not in physical danger, you were not being followed, and your phone has never been tapped. You are not being physically stalked. You ran into a person on this blog in a small town. That is not called stalking. That is called a small town. Have you ever thought about that personal responsibility thing when you are telling me that now “because of this blog, my family is now in physical danger.” Have you ever thought that it is your offensive statements that brought about this blog, and the attention that is a double edge sword. This site is not for the wishy washy either, Candy. We are serious, smart, and analytical here. Your crazy talk, your circular arguments, and your BS we smell from miles away. We don’t attack your supporters that come here. We are respectful, but we do disagree. That is not an attack. That is called being able to intelligently defend our positions. Sorry they do not have the protection of your moderating. We don’t do that here. I will respect the privacy of your children, but your children are the only reason there is any leniency. You can say what ever you want about the people on this blog, but I can tell you this, everyone of these regular readers (yes Mr. and Julie) are smart, quick witted, and have great hearts. I would take their opinions and stories over yours any day. Such is the same with your readers and you. Call the FBI (which you don’t pay for, but I will purchase that luxury for you though). You don’t know what slander is. You don’t know what stalking is. We have done neither. We do not lie about you, and the worse thing is for you to prove it you must go to court, and that gives us transcripts. Ooops.
Thanks to all my readers. You all are the inspiration. You all have told me that this tiny little blog means something. You all have the courage and the sense of humor to stand up to this ridiculousness. It has been fun, and remember “We Won’t Back Down.” (Damn Candy for making me refer to Tom Petty so much).

Okay here is the olive branch

I have had a private conversation with Candy. I asked her and she agreed to reciprocate the privacy of that conversation. I have decided that there will be a change to my rules. I have a family, and this is what I based this decision on. I have decide that I will not allow this forum to be used to disperse personal information about Candy. Now before you all fall to the floor let me clarify what I mean. I don't want to facilitate the use of Candy's address or children's name. I think the request and the change to protect her children is an easy one for everyone to understand. The town they live in is a small one. I am sure everyone knows everyone. I just don't want there to be more of a stigma applied to their children in that town. The kids have to endure plenty without my site creating more turmoil in their lives. I use the same reasoning to apply to Candy's physical address. I know that she has done the same to Elena, but I think she realizes that it can come back ten fold to her when she participates in the rough stuff. I do not wish harm upon Candy or her family, and I have stated this many times. I don't hate Candy. I do disagree with Candy, and I am pretty much against everything she stands for, but I can not contribute to people harassing the kids at her home (not saying this is happening, but the potential is there). I could not live with myself if something happened due to information from this website. Candy brings all of this entirely upon herself, but I know that opening this personal information is wrong, and I guess I should have come to this realization earlier, but I too got caught up in the momentum of this blog. I hope all of you agree, and I want to ensure you that my attitude about Candy has not changed. I will still continue to defend the normal people, and I will still continue to disagree with Candy unless there is some 180 degree change in her, which I don't see as possible. Once again I hope you all understand, and I hope you will help me in this manner. Thank you again,

No time to retort, but it is coming

Wow how convenient for the newest post. I love how Candy can't even be up front enough to say that she has looked at this blog, but instead that her handy dandy set of Internet spy trolls have given her this information. Even when she comes clean she lies. Amazing: I will address all that I know; for example ITU Certification, Mensa, and the one left out Inventors hall of fame. I am sure more of the readers who know Candy can retort the other areas where she states that we are the liars. I have a hectic week this week, but I will be addressing all of this very, very soon.

Retort to Erik's View of Governement

SHUT UP AND PAY YOUR TAXES. STOP CHAMPIONING A CAUSE THAT YOU DON'T SUFFER FROM.
Oh yes, thank you Erik for enlightening me on something that I know something about, and you have no clue. Could it be that I am currently being "ENSLAVED" by taxes to pay for services that you and your family enjoy, but that you don't pay for. You are a HYPOCRITE, UNPATRIOTIC, AND A TRAITOR. Please tell me how to live better, when your way of life burdens me and the rest of Americans that pay for their country. Why don't you go and burn a flag, at least that is a protected form of protest versus burdening me with your illegal activities. Yes complain about the borders. Why? You are a legal resident that burdens Americans the same as an illegal alien does, according to your Minuteman propaganda.
I mean can it get any worse than a person screaming foul about something that he himself does?

How to get it done? Plan on multitasking on speed

You can justify it all you want Candy, but this schedule is ridiculous. Candy admits it by spending three quarters of her blog justifying this ridiculous schedule. I know why there is enough time. It comes at the expense of her children's education. Think about it this way. How many teachers did you have that did laundry, baked bread, and cleaned toilets while teaching? I had exactly zero. Here is what I see as a reasonable time table to her schedule. Tell me if you think this isn't correct:
Bible study: 45 minutes
Clean all toilets (they only have two): 30 minutes (get out supplies and do a good job)
Clean shower and bath (I guess they two): 45 minutes (get out supplies, scrub corners and tile and fixtures)
Clean bathroom sinks: 20 minutes
Bleach kitchen sink: 5 minutes (this can sit there while doing other things I guess)
Do younger children's laundry: 45 minutes (not all at once but to change add detergent and fold at different times)
Home school: Now this is a tricky one. I have no experience in home school what so ever, but I would imagine that a minimum of 4 hours would be appropriate.
Exercise: 75 minutes
Total so far: 8 hours and 25 minutes (this does not include getting up, dressed, brushing teeth for all, and fixing breakfast. Now let's continue)
Work on Home binder: 15 minutes
Work on Budget: 30 minutes (prep time, bills etc)
Make menu plan : 15 minutes
Do something to bread: 15 minutes
Make grocery list: 5 minutes
Go to evening Church 2 hours (round trip, meet and greet, etc)
Total 11 1/2 hours
Now this does not include making dinner, breakfast, and lunch: 2 1/2 hours for all
Clean up after lunch breakfast dinner: 1 hour
So I came up with 15 hours and then you add 8 hours of sleep ='s 23 hours (this is left over for your getting up, brushing teeth, your own hygiene and that of the children's, using the restroom, and time to think about you. An hour, so I guess Candy is correct when she says it can be done. Yes it can, but to what expense (all your time?)? So that is the answer: THE WIFE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO HAVE A LIFE, UNLESS IT IS AT THE EXPENSE OF HER SLEEP. Great life Candy, and know I can now why women want to be like her. The martyr for the family, kind of like the Virgin Mary, huh?

And then he talked to me

Well just like the clash of the titans, Candy has received a second prophecy. Does this make her a prophet? To Candy, I think she thinks it does. I get prophecies all the time from strangers, but usually they are from either drunks, homeless, or just deranged people on the street. I seldom take them as the word of God. If I had I would be stocking up on canned goods, preparing for the end, or expecting Nicole Kidman to be the anti-Christ. Wait a minute, Candy is stocking up on canned goods, preparing for the end, and believe PBS is Satan, so it is close. I wonder what the prophecy could be? You know at the University of Houston they have the worlds most powerful electron microscope. This microscope can see the tiny inner workings of an atom. Guess what? You could take that microscope and still not see the concern that I have for learning this prophecy. As a matter of fact, the idea that a stranger delivered a message from God is enough for me to work with. I never knew God worked through hear say or gossip.

Sorry Folks Club is full..Firecode won't allow anymore guest

I mean how can a fake dance hall be full, and not allow anymore fake dancing? It could be that Candy is really reducing the size to prevent fake "party crashers" like us from coming. I don't know anything about Meez, and personally the less information about it the better from my stand point. I have other irrelevant things that will occupy that spot in my brain. I just don't get it. How bad is that on your ego if you can't go to a real party, and you can't get into a fake party. Wow, that is some serious time to self reflect. All dressed up and no chat room to go. Whoa is me.

I HAVE A VERY SPECIAL IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.

Today in five minutes I will be announcing that.....I know you are on the edge of your seats, waiting their wondering what could it be, feeling disappointed that I did not give you enough time to gossip about what it was, and I know all are anticipating the fun that is to come.
And the announcement is......

I AM GOING TO MAKE SOME TOAST THIS MORNING.

I just figured I had to one up Candy, because making toast is about as interesting to me as going to a fake online party.

Ladies and Gentlemen The Zealots have left the building!!

Matthew 7:15-1615Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Proverbs 31:6Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

Wow, it is sounding like Candy's intolerant readers are turning on her. Ladies and Gentlemen Candy has asked the zealots to leave the building. Strange, strange, strange. There are actually people out there more judgemental than Candy? Look out, we may have to go and find them as well. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, what sayeth Candy:

"Well, I've shaken some dirt from this broom... There have been some "loyal readers" highly offended that I have NON-ALCOHOLIC beer in my fridge, and some have been highly offended that I like worship songs, such as "Holy is Your Name." Well, if anyone has a problem with that, then let me show you to the door... God forbid you should keep reading here, and get yourself angry. :-?
Meanwhile, I was so blessed to read of so many other ladies who keep their children with them in church service. It sometimes seems like I'm the only one. It gets "lonely," when I don't know other people who believe as I do, about worshiping the Lord ToGeThEr, as a family, and not shipping the kids off to do who knows what... I'll write an article about it soon, as it is something dear to my heart.
Next... Yes, I know Foursquare was founded by a woman - so? I don't see the big deal. Their teachings are solid, and I won't attend any churches with a woman preacher. I don't agree with everything with Foursquare, just as I don't agree with everything IFB. There is probably no church out there that I agree with everything on.
I don't know if I'll leave IFB for Foursquare, or something else, or if I'll stay where I'm put. I'm praying about it, and planning on visited a few churches - that's it.
Next, there have been several requests about scriptures in regards to the age of accountability, and that all babies go to heaven. Yes, there are several verses on that... I added that topic to my "blog about" list, and will write an article on that soon, as well. Candy Homepage 06.27.08 - 6:06 pm # "
Now it is non alcoholic beer, and then she edited her post to clarify. I think she has a couple of real beers, but just doesn't like being on the other side of the ridicule fence. She thought oh no I am not the zealot anymore, I need to change that. It is funny that the Candy heads make the same arguments we do to Candy about the people complaining about her alcoholism, but they don't see the irony in the fact that they have spent the last years arguing against those arguments. Wow talk about head in the sand.

The True Harm of Candy's Blog

We had a mother of 2 comment this week on this site, and it was rather moving. I knew there were women out there, and most are still reading Candy’s blog, that are beating themselves up about not keeping up with the Brauer home. I thought her words were eloquent and told a story that I know cannot be unique. Countryangle stated “ I started reading candy's site and started thinking there was something wrong with me. I didn't have everything moving perfect in my home. I'm just a mom with 2 kids. Mine are not perfect like hers. We argue and I have to get loud at times. I was new to blogs and I figured I was a true failure.I spent a lot of my husbands hard earned money making a binder and trying to follow it like she told me. Again I failed. I didn't use it like she did. I also noticed that I spent a heck of a lot of time putting it together and not getting anything done around the house. I broke down and told my husband about it and he got to reading her blog. He would laugh out loud and I couldn't figure out what he found funny. He told me I was crazy to try and follow her lies. He pointed out that there wasn't enough time in one day to be so perfect.“
This is just it. Trying to be perfect. First of all the Bible teaches us that we are not perfect, but are very fallible. I will not quote the Bible, but on rare occasions. I think that scripture is far less critical than the way you interpret it (like Candy I am not a believer in legalism when it comes to religion, but unlike Candy I will be consistent with that belief). I can if challenged, but I don’t believe it is necessary to prove that the Bible is against killing by quoting the ten commandments. Some things I will assume are a given. With that being said, I think that one of the most frustrating issues and what brought me to this blog was the knowledge that there are several women beating themselves up on a daily basis due to Candy.
This is the issue. Candy portrays herself as someone with a perfect life, perfect family, and a happy perfect home. People read her site and wonder what is wrong with them. What I am I doing wrong to not have such a perfect family? When you speak as an authority on a subject , the key is credentials. What qualifies you to give advice on the subject you are talking about? With Candy it is how to raise your home in a Christian manner, and her credentials are her stories and description of the home she has. We know that description is false. We know that she does not live what she portrays, but many people do not. This story is not unique and I have seen descriptions of this on more than one occasion. Candy does not acknowledge that there are hard days when everything does not go right. Candy does not describe the challenges of being financially strapped. Candy does not explain how hard it is to deal with unruly children. Instead Candy condemns having all the above. Candy has stated (by using her favorite blunt object the bible) it is un Christian to have the above. When people read, respect, and take Candy’s word for gospel they set themselves up to always being disappointed. What is worse to have children that are difficult to raise or a parent with low self esteem about her parenting. I would argue the latter. The latter allows for the parents to become withdrawn, ashamed, and not the ability to learn how to enjoy life.
Candy puts up this ridiculous schedule that we all know is impossible to follow, and something has to suffer for the lack of time, and my guess are the kids. I would say that if it comes between teaching your child (home schooling) and making buttermilk, always choose the child.
Parents need to understand that parenting is an imperfect science. There are several unique challenges and the way you parent is going to be based upon your very unique past. To look at Candy, and to not know the lies, you would think if she can do it so can I, but that is just the point she can’t do it and doesn’t do it. There are several things about Candy that destroy her credentials as an authority figure. Her ignorance on several subjects, her low level of education, poor financial status, CPS showing up, and her insistence to lie about her life are all reasons that this site was created. To not only refute her vile and bigotry, but also to let people know it is okay to be imperfect, are the reasons this site was started. God expects none of us to be perfect. Life is a challenge, and a hard one with many mountains and mole hills. Once you are able to accept that the easier the challenges become, but to not accept yourself, because you hold too high of a standard (set by a deceptive soap box stander) you will never be happy, and you will never feel like a successful parent. I think to be a successful parent you just have to spend time and be there with your child. Be there with them when things go right and wrong and to teach them by example how to deal with those victories and challenges. Just because one thing works for one does not mean it applies across the board. Parenting is not something you get off the Internet or off an Internet site (sure you can get support, advice, and a place to talk to others with the same issue, but the situation you are in is unique to you and your family).
Hopefully more and more will visit and see that yes you can pick up tips from her site, but do not be deceived to the point that you think her description of her life is real. It just is not.

Candy's latest and greatest hypocricy

Candy 6/27/08
"That church was NKJV, but at least it wasn't NIV, or worse….
Then we moved to the state we're in now. We had a hard time finding a church. We ended up in one that was Campbelite (church of Christ). We didn't know it until we heard a few "off" sermons, and did some research. The church we're in now is almost Landmarkist (Baptist) in some areas, but isn't officially Landmarkist, thankfully. However, I've never felt totally welcome there, and I think it's probably because I'm not allowed to become a member or partake of Communion there, because I refuse to get re-baptized in a "Baptist church." I was already baptized! :-? Apparently, in the eyes of my church, my baptism "doesn't count," since they want me to do it again. :-( I don't want to water down my first baptism, by using baptism as a "club membership" tool.

I love my current church, but I think it's too legalistic. (Legalism as defined by Webster’s “1: an advocate or adherent of moral
legalism2: one that views things from a legal standpoint; especially : one that places primary emphasis on legal principles or on the formal structure of governmental institutions”) There's not much smiling there (however, pastor smiles, which is great) and after some members sing a solo or duet special, we are not allowed to clap, so as to not cause a pride problem in the person who sang. Thus, after the special song is over, the church is just sadly silent, with maybe a few men saying "Amen." When I clapped in the Foursquare church, I wasn't praising the person doing the singing, I was praising God for His greatness, and for giving that person the gift to bless us with song."

So what Candy is saying here is that she doesn’t like her church to be a mixture of Church of Christ and Baptist. The best part of her argument is about the church being legalistic. Here is the hypocrisy of this statement. To be too legalistic means to divert from the spirit and interpret the Bible too literally, and to move from what feels right to doctrine. So let’s recap: Candy only likes the KJV, and thank God it is not one of those other devilish Bibles (what in the world does that mean, is there really an evil Bible?). Secondly, Wikipedia describes legalism as “in
Christian theology, is a pejorative term referring to an improper fixation on law or codes of conduct, or legal ideas, usually implying an allegation of misguided rigor, pride, superficiality, the neglect of mercy, and ignorance of the grace of God or emphasizing the letter of law over the spirit. Legalism is alleged against any view that law, not faith in God's grace, is the pre-eminent principle of redemption. Its opposite error is antinomianism, which is alleged against a view that moral laws are not binding.”So when Candy gets on her soap box and spits out scriptures condemning Catholics this is what she is being, too legalistic. I mean wow to post this and then turn around and do the exact same thing you are complaining about to Catholics is amazingly hypocritical. She states that her baptism wasn’t good enough for her current church. Just like Catholic religion and other religions that she doesn’t agree with aren’t good enough for her nor you. Wow, I can only say, in her defense, that her ignorance and lack of education causes here to speak in this manner.

Ginger is just bubbling over

Ginger's comments on Candy's blog

"I know have a post in my honor at one of the anti candy sites. Wasn't that sweet. I feel so special. Anyways, keep on keeping on. Never loose faith in Christ. Remember they are not persecuting you, they are persecuting Christ."

We are persecuting Candy. Candy is not Christ, this is why we call her a false prophet. Anyway, you may want to learn the difference between now and know. I know knowing is difficult for you. I mean the discussion that you have with us are about as useful as talking to a tin can. You are special, but not really in the good way. You are especially amusing, and fun to fluster, but special as in something unique....na

Ann T. We are not arguing with you at all

"Elena and her croanies (cronies) can deny Candy bashing all they want, but they do bash her. They post links to other blogs that bash her as well. I have never gotten anything good or fruitful from any of Elena's blogs or her buddies' blogs. As far as I am concerned they are a p[ack of liars. They bash, they encourage bashing and hatred. Candy has never encouraged hatred towards catholics. They come here, copy and paste others' comments and post them on their Candy bashing blog and feed from flesh. Very sad.Anne T. 06.25.08 - 4:54 pm # "
Anne T. We do Candy Bash at this site for sure. You will get no argument from this blog. That is all we really want to do while we are here is to make fun and discredit your false prophet. Now the part I take offense at is the pack of liars part. Show me the money. Where are we lying, especially since we can prove your flock leader has made bald face untruths.

They must have us confused

Kim comments on Candy's site:
"I just read through that anti-Candy blog by Elena and the others... it was truly sickening. I could not even leave a comment to their filth. I can't believe how they toss around scriptures about peace and love on a blog that is literally bashing a person and what they believe truth is. I am truly sorry Candy, I guess the only light is that you are being persecuted for His name sake! You are a wonderful wife and mother and a blessing to so many others, don't lose sight of that. There is no response to that type of ugliness and unGodliness used in God's good name. One woman named Angie said "when you have a woman who fills her mind with anti-catholic bigotry..."blah blah and on and on about you Candy...so this Angie's response to that is "you turn the other cheek on something like that and there is no telling the damage that will be done" Well if that really is how those ladies feel then they don't know Jesus at all. Jesus turned the other cheek, and bore all our sins upon his back, he bled and died on a cross for us. We have nothing left to prove, it is a gift of love. Candy, you don't have to publish this comment if you don't want to, I am not trying to stir up anger from obvious anti-christians, not just anti-Candyites. I am praying that even if they can't let go of their "catholic vendetta" then they can truly begin to understand Jesus and having a true a personal relationship with Him, one that changes you so greatly that you are no longer that person that does ugly things. Jesus' victory is our hope. They say on their blog that they are not bashing or name calling just making a justified response to something "anti-catholic". But WE do not have to defend what is God given, God is the defender of the brethren. "vengeance is mine says the Lord, I shall repay" that being said I don't peruse the internet for "anti-christian" people/media/blogs/propoganda (propaganda) and then make blogs in response to them. I guess we should all get out there and make blogs against the public school system, darwinism, gays for marriage, divorce, etc. etc. etc. Anyplace where we as christians (I don't understand why she doesn't capitalize her faith) feel like the opposite of God's truth is being declared. Let's just focus on Christ and who He is, not on the speck in eachothers eyes. I didn't leave a comment on their blog and I won't because I read their "sweet and Godly" kidding, responses to people who "oppose" them, and I will not be visiting their blog again. All I can do is pray for them that Jesus' love and kindness will overwhelm them and they will come to repentance. Jesus bless you Candy."
Boy she sure does not know about us. Yes Kim we are different than the VTC. You should email Elena and tell her how much you appreciate her professional and courteous blog. I highlighted what I considered to be hypocritical. The idea that someone would write to Candy to turn the other cheek, religion is a personal relationship with God, a Catholic Vendetta????, once you find Christ you stop doing ugly things, and that we should all do blogs opposing what we are against. First they do all post blogs about what they dislike, right. Darwinism, gays, divorce, public school, and Catholics are all topics on Candy's page. She then goes on to write that we do not have to defend our religion, basically. Then stop, you pack of morons. Why do you continue to put down other religions to justify your own? Stop saying nasty things like "you are dumb," "you don't know your religion," and all the other nastiness that comes out of their site. How does Kim know that the ladies at the VTC don't know Jesus? Who is she to make that determination? She begins by addressing Angie quoting only half of what she said, and then finishing it off with blah blah blah. Exactly that is an intelligent retort for sure. I suppose the ladies at the VTC are using multi syllable words that come off as gibberish to Candy and her cronies. Ladies at the VTC you may want to "dumb down" your retorts and rhetoric. It is flying over the heads of the MENSA candidate. Stop confusing them with scriptures. They don't understand. You may want to start using pictures.
We do bash Candy. We rarely use scripture to do it. We use common sense and sarcasm on this site. We use our greatest asset: intelligence.

I guess a farewell to Ginger is in order

Ginger comments on the notebook:
"I think you have handled yourself extremely well. I am thankful for your posts. You have said things much nicer then I ever could have. I do not have a knack for words. You and I are not going to teach the devil anything. I fully believe the devil is at hand here with those anti- sites. Such hatred. It is so sad to see the hatred in those posts. I have decided to not comment on that blog anymore, it is getting no where since they are bent on hating this person."
So I say farewell to Ginger, and hopefully she will change her mind. It is funny when someone disagrees with her they become the devil. I am sure her future or present psychiatrist is Satan as well.

110 comments wow we blew the previous record by um almost a hundred

I think the MEEZ is occupying time for Candy. She has now started to multi task her bible teachings and blogging at the same time. I have a feeling she is being touched by our site. Her last three posts have been lame, and have occupied about four minutes of her time. I guess all that fake dancing is time consuming and tiring. Wow what a discussion we had to day, and I don't expect to end anytime soon. We have had a ton of new readers, and I have to think that credit goes to our friends at the Visit to Candyland website. Thank you guys so much. We all really appreciate it. I think we all had a pretty constructive conversation, and everyone had the opportunity to be read without moderation, editing, or deletions. What a refreshing change from the blessed home. I will be working on a new post for this weekend, based upon the damage that Candy's site does to other women that read and follow it. I think we have found that her followers are either so blind as to never being convinced or ever wanting to hear anything contrary to their beliefs, or we have found a couple of her readers that are actually intelligent and enjoyable to converse with (Mrs. Butler). Hopefully the traffic will keep up, and hopefully Candy will drop the MEEZ thing so we can get back to business. I will be researching and posting several things in days to come. I am going to find the Hall of fame, Mensa, ITU, and modeling quotes to post. I will also find some of the information about Erik's run for congress. Hopefully we can get Candy's attention, which who knows she could be one of the new guest, and have her on the site to actually have an open discussion.

Yes we are getting acknowledged

Candy 6/24/08:
The summer bug has bitten me (and I'm not referring to my BR bite, which has healed, praise God) so hubby and I have been sharing some songs with each other that we used to listen to, and I came across my old fave.I dedicate the below song to Elena and the other anti-Candy-ites: The Lord has called me to do a very special job, to spread the Gospel of Christ, and I WON'T BACK DOWN... :-D""
First of all Tom Petty? Wow, great taste in music, and such a timely song.
The "BR" bite: Almost every single web page talks about the healing time for brown recluse bites taking around 3 weeks. Hmmm...I guess her therapy works, or maybe CANDY IS A LIAR.
We are much more confrontational than Elena, and less needing of acceptance from Candy. I thought she didn't read any of these anti Candy sites.
By the way if you go to visit candyland, we are referenced on their website now. It is right under the three videos tagged I think she has bigger problems than us. I love it.
You have us wrong Candy. We don't want you to back down. It is sort of like lobbying the circus to get rid of the freak show. Are you really going to watch some clowns jump out of a small car?

Sorry for the dealy...I maybe in and out during the month of July

This is going to be a hectic month. We are incredibly busy at work, and I usually fill in dead time with this blog, but I am seeing very little dead time in the month of July. Please bare with me; I will do everything I can to stay caught up, but to be honest this blog is rather low on the priority list as far as work, family, and keeping up with my home goes. After July though I am free to spend every second, which I should be working, concentrating on Candy.

Now to Candy's recent post with the link about the Catholics. First, I don't think Candy realizes that the King James Bible was actually published in 1611, and was originally introduced for interpretation in 1604. I find this interesting considering there are only like the last three doctrines that post date this. I am wondering why is that a religion, created sometime around 300 a.d., is such a cult compared to a Bible that was written almost 1300 years afterwards. I mean this is like the Scientologist proclaiming that Buddhism is a false religion to me. Secondly, what in that link proves that Catholicism is a cult. They may disagree with the doctrines, but how does it still make it a cult. Pick on the Mormons, Scientoligist, Heaven's Gate, and other newly formed religion, before you talk about a religion that was created 300 years after Jesus' death. To me this seems as close as one can get to the actual story, and to bash it seems a little ignorant.

Slow news day for Candy

It is looking more and more that the new Meez phenomenon has taken a control over Candy's time. She has left her readers feeling neglected. If you are looking for candy, then get on your fake dancing shoes and meet her at the fake dance off. If you are looking for cooking or cleaning tips, well it is looking more like she has a cure for this by just creating her digital home, and thus in the fake world there is no cleaning or homeschooling. Booo. What are we to do? We may have to start a looking back montage in order to converse about her. Maybe we should all get a meez and crash her party.

Meet me here at ten so we can pretend we are friends?

Candy Brauer 6/21/08:
“Wow did I have a blast! That Praise Party was really hopping! I just now left, but there are several people still there. Good night all... J ”
Wow is right. This maybe one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. Sure, I can see eight to fourteen year olds making up a fantasy character and going to a fantasy place to fantasy dance, but a grown woman and man with children? And her followers ask us if WE have anything better to do than to write about her blog? Just put it this way, lemon flock, I use the time I would normally be using making up a fake character and going to fake parties for my blog time. I mean this is truly sad. Hey come on everyone, I have no friends, and if you don’t either join me at the nerd party. It will be great. There will be fake bibles, fake super ultra amazing Amish style kick you in the face bread, fake buttermilk, and a fake dance floor. All for us to fake getting together and having a great fake time. Weird, that is all I have to say. I don’t understand it, and it makes absolutely no sense to me. I can think of about a million things I would rather do than to go to web site and sit around watching my character dance; making toast is one of them. Why, but I know the answer. Candy, and her cronies, have no friends. This is what happens when you are abrasive and a freak. Eventually time tells on you. Eventually your strange habits, life style, and obsessiveness oozes out, like a sore trying to purge the toxins, for everyone to see. It is okay, for everyone in Candyland. They have a place where no one will laugh at your “frumpy” dresses, your lack of social skills, and your inability to make friends. It is a world that does not exist. Shouldn’t that say enough? You have to go out, but not really, in cyberspace, because the world will not tolerate you the way you are. Keep up the good working making identical clones, Candy. Maybe your kids will have the same opportunities of no health care, dental visits, friends, or the ability to go out into the sun without getting berated because of your freakish nature. Sad, sad, sad.

Why I do what I do

First of all considering this blog is not about me, but about Candy and refuting her, I don't see the need to tell people about me. I don't feel as though anyone comes here for this, and so I will not bore you with details about myself.

Okay, I am sure people wonder why I started this post (if not then placate me, anyway and wonder). I found out about Candy through a couple of friends. It all started on another blog. There was an argument, much of the same, about Catholics, and how they were a cult. This of course was just another Christian trying to emulate Candy. The blog’s author posted a link to Candy’s page, and when I clicked on it, a whole new world opened. I started with the “Anti-Christianity” post. You know, the one that had a picture of people bowing to Mary. I couldn't help but notice the links on the side, and so I investigated the site. The more and more I looked the more I became convinced that Candy was a huge loon. I mean just to be so weird, but to be so judgmental at the same time, highlighted the word irony to me. It is like a mentally handicapped person berating someone for misspelling a word. I feel as though religion is a personal journey, and what maybe correct to one person does not mean that it applies across the board to all. I think that people can congregate under the same roof with the same basic beliefs, but I don’t feel as though there is some universal standards that applies to all. I think that a person’s relationship to their creator is just that a personal relationship. This is why I can’t stand Candy. She is poor (she can’t afford insurance, detergent, trips to the doctor or dentist, taxes, and other items that most people take for granted). I don’t judge her for being poor, at all. Heck, I am trailer trash (not now we live in a home, but when I was young we lived in the poor section of the trailer park). I do judge her for judging and condemning people for not believing exactly as she does. She thinks just because people have items that she can not afford, then they are going to hell. She looks down upon people for having money, because she does not. This is called jealousy or envy .
Now there are other reasons that I do not appreciate Candy. For one, I feel as though she sets up a standard, that she herself does not meet, for her readers. There are several of them that feel incompetent as parents, wives, and people because they can not “keep up” with the Brauers. When you do a little research you will find that the Brauers do not keep up with the Brauers on Candy’s blog. I think that is an abomination to place guilt on other people for not being “perfect” (although even reading Candy’s blog and taking everything factual that she says you can find plenty of fault in her). I also do not appreciate Candy for her bigotry against Catholics. I am not a Catholic, but I do have strong feelings about other people’s religion. I think it is one of the most personal subjects that one can talk about, and to condemn or wag your finger at something that someone holds so dear is just flat out mean and un-Christian. We are a country and culture that enjoys feeling superior. This is what spurs racism, sexism, and other forms of bigotry. The need to not feel as though we are at the bottom is critical for our self esteem. Instead of appreciating each and everyone of us, and trying to understand and relate to other people’s situations and feeling, we, as a society, just do not do that very well. Until we realize that people, other than ourselves, live very different lives, believe very differently based upon our individual experiences, and those experiences shape our reality, which is different from the next person’s reality, we will never be able to grow and understand each other. Candy is at the heart of this. She is rude, mean, and demoralizing to many people. Although I see Candy as a liar and a joke, many people do not, and the damage that she does by either setting expectations that she herself does not meet, judging people by what they believe, and the uneducated advice that she gives has to be refuted in some venue. This is why I do this.
The other reason I do this is out of pure fun and kicks. She is so different than anyone I know (and yes I can be charged with the same issues , as far as judgment, that I accuses Candy of , but at the same time I realize this, something Candy is incapable of, and I am willing to discuss these issues, something again Candy is incapable of) that I sit jaw dropped reading some of her posts. I enjoy the blind flock of followers. They follow her lock and step into ignorance. I really believe this is a perfect example of the cliché ignorance is bliss. Have a wonderful weekend

Okay time for one new post

I just saw today that Candy has decided to use her imagination and create an avatar figure. Now she not only blogs about a fake life, she is chatting "live" as a fake character as well. I am just wondering how this avatar thing is consistent with her disavowing anything to do with witchcraft, make believe, or magic? Why is it okay to have an alternate form of reality, but not watch Harry Potter? Is it because she has horrible taste in movies, and that projects itself on to her interpretation of what is right and wrong. I mean seriously put yourself in her shoes. You like the new Rambo and Rocky. I know it is hard, but just try and think about being excited about those two new films of old movies; anticipating their release and on the edge of your seat waiting to see which anti-patriots that Rambo is about to slit their throats. Or which non American that Rocky is about to be beaten to a pulp by, and then suddenly at the end he comes out on top. YO, Candy! Those are horrible movies.
An update of the spider bite. I think there are a couple of issues: 1) the pictures on her post are inconsistent. Just take a look at the pictures closely and you will notice that the hair pattern of both pictures are different. 2) who has that hairy of a hand? 3) why doesn't she update us on the progress with pictures? I also think that along with that not being pictures of anyone she knows, the idea that only 3 out of 100 people have bad reactions is due to 90% of people will seek medical treatment. They do not apply the backwoods, hill billy method of rub some dirt on it. I implore anyone that is bitten by a Brown Recluse seek medical attention from a doctor and not from your pastor, please.

Candy 6/18/08:
"Unless you know me in person, then you probably have certain pictures in your head of who you think I am, and you are probably wrong about some things. I think this is why some of the anti-Candy websites are out there, and I think that is why some of the comments I get are (to me) outrageous. I think when I don't fit the personality that people have assumed I possess, then they get angry, or feel let down. Thus, this article is to tell you a bit more about me, so that some people's miss-conceptions about me have more of a chance of melting away without someone being hurt or angry."
Yes, she used spell check. Well that helps a lot. I don't know, but I am coming to the conclusion that miss "hard as nails" Candy is softening up a bit. She has wanted to clarify who she was. Yes Candy, this one post is going to help me understand you. No Candy, this one post will not come close to change the image I have of you due to reading your blog. Honestly, I don't think I see much under her description that I didn't already know. She is a little more lax on the KJV and dresses only. I love the part where she explains that she is not good at "reading between the lines," and you just need to come out and say it, but then she doesn't post them. I guess as long as she understands it. Then she can interpret and decide on disseminating the information to her flock. She is even petitioning the congregation for their opinion of her picture profile. Isn't that nice of her? I guess this is giving the inch without allowing for the mile. She didn't really have anything about hating Catholics, though. She didn't explain about MENSA, ITU certified, or any of the other untruths that she has proclaimed in the past. That is the funny thing about the Internet and memories; they are very hard to hide from. I would love to say that she has changed my opinion of her, but there are still so many issues and weirdness associated with her that I still believe she is crazy. No update on the spider. This leaves me to wonder, did it really happen?
