No time to retort, but it is coming

Wow how convenient for the newest post. I love how Candy can't even be up front enough to say that she has looked at this blog, but instead that her handy dandy set of Internet spy trolls have given her this information. Even when she comes clean she lies. Amazing: I will address all that I know; for example ITU Certification, Mensa, and the one left out Inventors hall of fame. I am sure more of the readers who know Candy can retort the other areas where she states that we are the liars. I have a hectic week this week, but I will be addressing all of this very, very soon.

You're right, this blog is nothing like the VTC blog - you might actually learn something about Catholicism over there.

And I'd say you're pretty ignorant to post that "Anti-Christianity" crap of an article on your blog and then give a total stranger a card with your web address on it. That article of yours is not about anti-Christianity, it is about anti-Catholicism, pure and simple. You are a bigot, and an ignorant one at that since you know absolutely zilch about Catholicism. Well, I'll have to say I've never known a bigot that wasn't also ignorant.

Unknown said...

"I have never knowingly lied on my blog. Either way, I don't see what the big deal would be. ???"

The big deal is because you claim to be an honest Chrisitian.

"However, this blog has become something serious, and I must warn you that the FBI may become involved, because you have pictures of my home, my and my family's full name, and my address published."

Also, where are pictures of your home on here? I don't recall seeing your address posted on here either. I know someone requested it, but the author of this blog said, they could email him. As for your names, well, that can be obtained on your husbands posts throughout the internet. Considering I have an uncle that works for the FBI and I know what is important to them and not, this would be a laughable site and they would take zero interest. There is nothing on here that wasn't found throughout the internet and easily obtainable. You can blame yourself for that. You have posted pictures of your house on your site. I have a feeling that people were gawking at you in your town for a long time. Right or wrong, it appears people do not care for you much there and are worried about your kids. Maybe that is why people drive by. No one wishes you harm here, but you have got to stop bashing Catholics, telling women how to discipline children and how to take care of spider bites. All that is harmful. Stick to homemaking tips and I think most will go away, except the people that look to you for things.

Wow! What a rant!! This is one of the best examples of her paranoid, dillusional (sp.?), bi-polar mental state yet.

Yeah, the FBI will be right on this. I am sure it's at the top of their To Do List.

Looking forward to chatting with Erik's dad if he has the time to phone me.

OOH, maybe they can resurrect Efrem Zimbalist to come visit us?? Cool. Perhaps Candy shouldn't have posted an aerial view of Elena's house--it's not as much fun when it's her, is it? The comments from the CandyHeads are so soothing, though, to her, I'm sure. I could care less if she and Erik sit around on the recliner and drink mushroom juice. I do care about child abuse, ridiculous medical advice and the Catholic hate, though. That crap needs to go--stick to the Binder University. You've set yourself up for this by putting yourself out there as some sort of housewife's saviour. And, no, despite what the CandyHeads think or believe or delude themselves with--I'm not jealous of you or them, my dear. To me, jealousy means you want something someone else has, and trust me, you have nothing I would want. I don't think you have as much "peace" as you seem to allude to either, do you?

Why would someone call the FBI when they hate our Government??!!

One look at Erik's ebay site and the FBI would be interested. Looks like bombs are being made. Oh no, wait, those items are for friends because they don't know how to use Ebay. My 8 year old knows how to use Ebay!!

Hey all - Candy had posted a comment this morning (the very first one) and something told me to cut and paste it, because Candy would delete it when everyone started responding to her. Here it is in its entirety.

Chris, this is Candy - the one you call a "nutjob." I've had no interest in reading this blog, because I thought it would just be like the VTC blog. However, this blog has become something serious, and I must warn you that the FBI may become involved, because you have pictures of my home, my and my family's full name, and my address published.

Furthermore, because of this blog, my family is now in physical danger. Complete strangers are coming to MY HOME, because of this blog and the information posted therein.

I don't believe it is your intent to put my life in danger, but alas, this blog IS DOING SUCH.

I am now being physically stalked - because of this blog. There is a person following me and my family around, watching and writing down every little thing we do. I wouldn't doubt if this person stares through my windows, as this is a very sick individual.

I have never knowingly lied on my blog. Either way, I don't see what the big deal would be. ???

As for Julie - I met her ONCE, and it was at an Aldi's where my son tried to give her a Christian track, because he thought she looked like a nice lady and would like our church. She turned the tract down, and said that she is Catholic. I didn't notice what her three children were wearing.

A few minutes later, she got into line behind us in the check out, so I gave her my card, which has my web address on it. I didn't realize until later, that she might be offended, as the post on my blog at that time was my post on Anti-Christianity.

As for Mr. I know exact who THEY are. I have spoken with their "source," hubby's father. Most of their information is extrememly inaccurate, at best. These two people - posing as one has always had some vendetta against me, and as God as my witness, I have NO idea why.

I've asked, confronted, invited these two people to call or email me, and they won't.

I invite Mr. to call me on the phone, they have my phone number already. Meanwhile, Erik's dad will be giving Mr. a call soon, to try to straighten things out.

Meanwhile, Chris, if you are really trying to find "the truth," then please post your questions on my blog, and I will be addressing them later today.

Chris, and others, I urge you to take what Julie writes with a grain of salt, since I've only met the woman once, and that was several months ago.

As for Mr. you need to know that one member of that team has NEVER EVER had one conversation with me personally, and I've only had ONE conversation with the other person, and that was at hubby's mother's funeral. That was the only time this person ever took to speak with me personally, EVER.

I invite the MR (one of them is a MS) to please call me, and lets get this balderdash settled once and for all. If you are truly concerned for my family, then stop these games, and lets talk.

Chris, I'm hoping you are a person of integrity, and will please just leave me alone, as I nothing against you, I am just a fellow blogger. I'd hope that you have better things to do, rather than slander me.

Poor Candy. The people here aren't nice like Elena and the VTC crew.

Maybe if you and Erik pray harder you won't have to go running to the FBI and use the government to strong arm your fellow citizens into paying to deal with personal problems created by you and your ignorant, bigoted blog and your stupid statements.

If it will work for parents' with very sick children and the disabled it will work for you.

Rachel said...

Thanks for reposting her entry. I wonder why she deleted it? Seems you would want your side seen? Written in haste maybe?

What I find so odd is that it was okay for her to post Elena's information on the internet cause she was upset. Then she gets upset because some here know her address??

Kinda outlandish with the people stalking her and peeking thru her windows. C'mon now.

The part that really bothers me, tho... is the part that the Mr. and Ms. have never, ever spoken to them (okay, once with the Ms.) to get things straight. Yet, this is the same exact thing she does to Catholics. She spouts out falsehoods and then when others try to correct her she will not listen.

What's that saying...

You reap what you sow?

sweepingthehome said...

Good work Brushetta. I copied & pasted it too because I too had a feeling it would magically disappear.

Unknown said...

I believe she deletes things after people poke holes through her statements, theories and beliefs or mock her. The whole FBI statement is just ridiculous. I think she thought it would scare us and when it didn't....well, she thought she would hurry up and delete it before the masses saw it. No such luck Candy, we all know your patterns and act accordingly.

sweepingthehome said...

Kinda outlandish with the people stalking her and peeking thru her windows. C'mon now.

She posted the same sort of nonsense before on her old blog. She claimed that she and Erik were being stalked and their house wired, forcing them to move. I remember reading this before. Does anyone else remember that? Maybe it can be found in the archives, I don't know. They are paranoid and delusional.

Rachel said...

I remember that too. When they were working for IBM and lived up on the mountain and were afraid to be run off the road? That's the big house with the maids and hot tub?

sweepingthehome said...

Yes Rachel, that's how I remember it too.

Remember that scene in Grease, where the principal tells the boys that a picture of their butts was being sent to the FBI for identification?
LOL!

I can't believe she gave her website to a Catholic, not knowing they would be offended. Hello???

And, I knew her full name long before it was posted on this blog. It's on her ebooks and her husband's websites.

SHE posted pictures of her home on HER site. SHE published her family's name on HER site. SHE mentioned her metropolitan area on HER site.

Milehimama @ Mama Says said...

And my question for Candy:

You said your children (5 yo at the time) did their own laundry, but you have Children's Laundry on your schedule. Did you give in to their shirking of chores?

Why do you have store bought dishwasher soap when you go on and on about how superior, and cheaper, the homemade version is?

BTW - when I make the homemade version, I use the same ingredients but also add salt. It's fabulous for scrubbing flat top stoves. See? You can get happy homemaking tips here, too.

****
you already were told she was Catholic..you have offensive information directed toward Catholics on your blog and you didn't realize she might be offended? When you post the stuff you do about Catholics and Catholicism you don't realize it's offensive to Catholics? you don't realize that likening us to Satanists is offensive?? telling a Catholic they aren't Christian and aren't saved is offensive?? comparing the Pope to some 'fish god" is offensive? calling my Church the 'whore of babylon" is offensive? you don't 'realize" all that??

I will agree that some of what is going on at this site is overboard....there is a stalkerish situation brewing and I don't agree with it....but OTOH I think you are reaping a little of what you've sown...

as for this:
"I have never knowingly lied on my blog. Either way, I don't see what the big deal would be. ???"

***
if you don't 'see what the big deal is" then you really have no business telling others wether they are Christian or not or saved or not...I'm Catholic ...I KNOW what the 'big deal" is about lying....and yet I'm the one who is supposedly NOT Christian? Worshipping in the 'whore of Babylon"??? O.......K......sure

Rachel said...

Handing out your "card" to strangers may not be a good idea. You are inviting complete strangers to your blog to learn about your and your life. A little tap, tap, tap of the keys and lots of information opens up on the web and you don't have to be MENSA certified, ITU/IT certified or homeschooled to find all that out either!

The julie situation was a bit bizarre, when someone is willing to change their shopping habits to the point that even her children are noticing -perhaps she's crossed the line.

That Candy could pinpoint the person would also lend weight to argument that Julie's "reports" weren't at innocuous as she would have liked everyone to believe.

I'm Catholic...Devil's Advocate and all.

another one said...

Indeed, she has knowingly lied on her blog.

She deliberately changed a homepage link in a Catholic commenter's entry to redirect to the JIL site.

How is that not a lie?

As for the "FBI becoming involved because you have found my address" issue, she has done the same to another commenter with whom she does not agree, though as it turned out, it was for a family member of the commenter. So that's two 'inconsistiencies.'

sweepingthehome said...

I find it ironic that Candy whines about having stalkers and being followed, yet she is the one who posted a satellite map and picture of someone else's home on her blog.

Candy, you tell lies about the Catholic Church, enormous, make-one-gasp-and-stretch-one's-eyes whoppers, and when you're corrected on them, you do not allow the comment to be published and nor do you retract your lies.

Bearing false witness is a sin.

Refusing to correct your lies when you are called on them is an even greater sin.

I suggest you start reading what the Catholic Church actually teaches, as opposed to what you want it to teach.

She has also disabled comments on the post, so my comment will never be published, apart from here (NB this is the gist of it, because I apparently never learn. I did not keep a copy of it before it vanished into the black hole of "comments never to be approved."):

"Sorry, Candy, but I simply do not recognise the church I belong to in the lies, misinformation and misinterpretations that you publish about the Catholic Church.

You tell lies about the Catholic Church, enormous, make-one-gasp-and-stretch-one's-eyes whoppers, and when you're corrected on them, you do not allow the comment to be published and nor do you retract your lies.

(Yes, the last bit was lifted wholesale from an earlier post of mine here, but since she never reads the anti-Candy blogs, I wanted to make sure she saw it).

Nicole said...

C "Why can't I find your husband's name in the Inventor's Hall of Fame?"

A For one, he was inducted several years before the year 2000, and I'm not sure the online records go beyond that. Second, there are two official Inventor's Hall of Fames, so you may be looking in the wrong one. Third, he wasn't inducted for an invention, but on a theory, and was inducted along with the whole group that was working with him on the theory. Therefore, I don't know if his individual name would appear, or not. I remember we flew down to Atlanta, GA to receive the reward, and flew back home miserable, with severe food poisoning. :-(

Milehimama @ Mama Says said...

One of her most pressing questions was, "why did you buy Jane Austen books"?

Really???

And, the explanation of why some people's comments aren't posted was truly laughable.

I've not had comments posted (pre VTC days, I don't even try now) - from THREE different states (we move a lot. Too much, in fact. Bleh.) I doubt IP overlap, or Halsocan being down, had anything to do with it.

Some of my comments did not even address religion at all, and I now *think* it is because she recognized my name on other blogs (such as Elena's) as being a Catholic. Or visited my homepage, where it is no secret.

One comment that never got published was noting we used the same history book, and asking how she liked it and if she supplemented with anything - not exactly mean!

Then she called me liar in the comments of SOMEONE ELSE'S blog (who is not even Catholic), after I commented. So now I follow her shenanigans.

Unknown said...

I found this revolting. Doesn't it say in the bible adultery is a big no no?

"At first, I wanted to leave in the Biblical escape clause of adultery, but after I thought about it, I didn't want to make it that easy to quit. Candy agreed that she didn't want it either. It was decided that we would be stuck with each other, having no back door to escape whatever it might be that we did to mess things up. Till death do us part was really going to mean something. I think that having divorce as an option, is the reason so many marriages fail."

Milehimama @ Mama Says said...

Also, for someone interested in sharing the Gospel, I sure haven't heard much Gospel from her.

I posted an open question on my blog (it's still on the right sidebar, feel free to comment or email) asking about Eternal Security (which I just don't get, and my husband, Southern Baptist that he is, can't really explain to me).

I asked her waaaayyy back in the early days (I KNOW it was before Valentine's Day 2006) about it and never received a response.

If anyone here wants to let me know WHY they believe that, with Scriptures, please feel free to comment on my post, BTW.

Milehimama @ Mama Says said...

OMGosh! The wedding vows are creepy. They sound like something straight out of a stalking deposition.

" The commitment is made that the marriage stands regardless of circumstance, emotions or any ruling by any legal authority of any government...If either of us has a laps of integrity and gets some legal authority to declare us unmarried, our marriage commitment will still stand until death whether this document can be found or not"

I think these are the first wedding vows I've ever heard of that reference the 9th Amendment to the US Constitution!

Milehimama @ Mama Says said...

And, oh, check out the comments under Erik's marriage post. Someone's mad at Candy for turning off comments. She replies:

"Zan, don't think so highly of yourself. ;-) You're not why I turned my comments off. I said why I turned my comments off, on my page. Also, I wasn't deleting your posts for the reason you said. There was some information lost on my page from one of the recent server upgrades."

Yes, the only reason a comment wouldn't show up would be a hardware glitch outside her control...

I like to read a few homemaking websites not just Candy's (or did) and here is one I come across (who seems to support Candy) that sort of blew me away today.

http://runningtothecross.blogspot.com/

I can't understand why on God's green earth why somebody who knows their child is in pain, would wait so long to send a child to a professional. I'm all for home rememdies, but when things get as bad as what sounds it is here, I think I'd of taken my child to ER immediatly when she would have complained of her back hurting, not 2 days later and complaining of other symptoms for about a week. I know doctors cost a lot, especially if there isn't any insurance. I think I'd of canceled my internet/broadband, or a cable/satellite service to apply it to a medical bill if debt was a concern. I mean where are peoples priorities? Hmmm...my internet/cable or other luxury is more important than possibly having to pay a med. bill cause my child needed medical attention. May I advise people that if you don't have proper insurance for your child, PLEASE get rid of stupid stuff like internet/cable and put the money you spend on it in a savings account or something for these emergencies. If this person does have proper medical insurance, why the sam heck is this child not being taken to a doctor sooner?

I'd would also advise a person who can't afford medical insurance for their child to get on medicaid or something for them....but WELFARE is unChristian! No seriously, go get medicaid!!!

This was me. Her response wasn't surprising...disgusting but not surprising.

Do they not have homeless shelters in her town where she could testify?

**********************************
C I came to your site orginally linked from a dear friends page. It was on a day that you chose to testify against the Catholic faith.
I truly do not want to upset or hurt you either, but just want an honest answer. Why?
I won't try and argue the Catholic faith to you, it seems there are so many others willing to do that in my stead, but when there are so many truly lost souls, without faith, not saved by the Grace of God. Why choose a religion? Why?
I don't want a response filled with reasons why you and I differ on the Catholic faith. We can agree that we disagree. But rather I would want your heartfelt reasons why you feel driven to this mission rather than seeking those Godless souls?
Neither of which would address the Christian woman's home keeping, but I truly understand the tangent. I do.
Thank you for your candor in advance

A I've also posted about New Age, The Emergent Church movement, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc. However, I have a special place in my heart for Roman Catholics, and love them so dearly. They are people who think they are doing God a service, yet so many of them that I have spoken to (in person) had no idea that salvation is in Christ alone, and that once one has accepted Christ's FREE gift, they are savED, not in a long, drawn out process, of "being saved." I rejoice, because so many souls have come out of the RC religion, and testified to me that my writings had something to do with it. I saw a whole family's life change in just a 6 month period, after they came out of RC, and into true, saving faith.

I specifically target the RC Church, because its many members truly think they are Christians, but the very writings of the RC church say that if one believes that Christ alone is their Saviour, and they are savED by faith alone, then they are anathema. So many RCs don't know their own Catechism and writings of the Holy See. There are some truly saved Christians in the RC church, and God is calling them out of it. I am part of that plan. This is part of the path I am to walk, and part of my job from God. I take up my cross and follow Him gladly.

The legal definition of Slander:
"Slander is the oral communication of false statements that are harmful to a person's reputation. If the statements are proven to be true, it is a complete defense to a charge of slander. Oral opinions that don't contain statements of fact don't constitute slander. Slander is an act of communication that causes someone to be shamed, ridiculed, held in contempt, lowered in the estimation of the community, or to lose employment status or earnings or otherwise suffer a damaged reputation. Slander is a subcategory of defamation.

The basic elements of a claim of slander include;

a defamatory statement;
published to third parties; and
which the speaker or publisher knew or should have known was false.
Slander is primarily covered under state law, but is subject to First Amendment guarantees of free speech. The scope of constitutional protection extends to statements of opinion on matters of public concern that do not contain or imply a provable factual assertion. If the slander unjustly accused you of a crime or reflected on your profession, the court or jury can assess the damages. For other types of slander you generally must prove some actual damage to be able to recover.

Slander of title is a common law tort involving a disparaging remark regarding ownership of property. It affects the owner's ability to transfer the property, resulting in a monetary loss."
I think there are several issues with this comment: 1. I am not knowingly lying about anything, 2. I am not lying either or saying things that are untrue. Yeah I wanted to be an attorney.
Secondly, call the FBI. What in the world for. I am not instructing anyone to chase you, harass you, or follow your every move.
She has done this before. She goes to other blogs and threatens them with copyright infringement, slander, or just all in all I will tell the authorities. I am not real sure that is the angle that they want. I am not sure if they would like a visit from the IRS or CPS, but I guess we will find out. I hate to hear that someone would follow or make her scared, but then again I can't believe that is the case, and even if she truly believed that was the case there is not much that I could do about it. I am not the VTC, I am not here to debate about Christianity. I am here to discredit Candy using her words and untruths. That is why I created this blog. I am not sure exactly why I have to take her feelings into account when she never reciprocates. I am not sure exactly why I need to go to her venue to post questions. What would change. Is it a sale; a one-day only opens the books and be candid with Candy day? I don't think so. All I can say is that this itty-bitty blog that started with three people has blown up to something big. It is bigger than the site it taunts. Hmmm..

How do you "invent" a theory?

Don't you theorize a theory, then create an invention utilizing that theory? Or perhaps theorize, then discover that it is, in fact, a law?

Did Newton invent gravity, or DISCOVER it???

Unknown said...

Couldn't resist sharing these findings.

Candy posted yesterday,
"We utilize the dentist, eye doctor, medical doctors, hospitals, etc. - WHENEVER NEEDED."

So was she lying when she posted,

"No, I didn't go to a doctor. I rarely ever do, not even for the broken toe I had a few years ago. :-)"

and,

"I rinse with Listerine to combat my Gingivitis. The Gingivitis is giving way to Perioditis, and my teeth are literally breaking as well. I cannot afford to go to a dentist. Haven't been to one in over 10 to 11 years. If any one has any helpful home dentristry type of tricks, please leave your suggestions in 'comments' below."

Just substitute"doctoring" for dentistry in the last sentence, and that was what the broken leg post was like.

Just to let you know I'm going to be on a lot less starting later this week.

Elena was asking for it by posting Candy's last name, knowing full well that Candy was trying to keep it private.

Elena also bans people who disagree with her and then goes on and on about how she gives everyone a voice, knowing full well she can delete any refutation. No matter what you think of any of the religious issues, you are very mistaken to make Elena appear so righteous.

What a bunch of cowards! So far I have only found ONE blog/profile available to the public amongst you. It is very easy to criticize from behind a cover. Especially when you will give directions to a family member's house for those who want to stare. Why not put up your own name and address, then? Fair is fair.ccqxi

Milehimama @ Mama Says said...

Mother of Many,
I'm not sure you checked very well. On the comments on this post, I counted at least seven people
besides myself that link to their own blogs.

Candy outed her own last name as the author of her ebooks long before Elena started VTC, if I remember correctly. And she continually links to her husband's activities, which include his full name (and the family's address, when he was running for office).

And am I the only one who caught this:

If either of us has a laps of integrity[...]

But, what the heck. If I were as crazy as Erik, I'd probably want a "no escape clause" in my marriage vows, too.

*And for the record, my blog is linked on my profile. Knock yourself out.*

MileHI,

I have seen your blog before. I have also been to Amanda's before, though I'm curious just how old-fashioned she can be if she is living in sin and has children out of wedlock. Of those I clicked, only one had a public access page.

My real beef is with Mr. If you truly have knowledge of family troubles, why are you so scared and hiding while the the same time giving out sensitive info? Coward.

Elena has banned me. I asked more than 6 times why and got no other reason that she doesn't like me and we need to leave each other alone (though she then went on to post about me on her private blog as well). I'm not the ony one, but I will not out other people who chose to avoid the whole ridiculous issue.

Unknown said...

and Candy mentioned on her blog--I think the link Marriage Bed Undefiled or some crap...her and Erik had sex relations prior to marriage.

Maybe Amanda and her "hubby" did marriage vows like Erik and Candy did in some field and it is a verbal agreement which is valid by SD law kind of like Colorado's law and when Erik & Candy got married.

WHATEVER!

I have also been to Amanda's before, though I'm curious just how old-fashioned she can be if she is living in sin and has children out of wedlock.

For the record, I am no longer "living in sin"; we were married in May. And of course you're right: how dare I have children out of wedlock? Surely it would have been better to have a back-alley abortion, so as to keep up appearances.

Certainly, back in the 50s and 60s, no one ever engaged in sex out of wedlock, and I'm equally certain that a shot-gun wedding was unheard of.

I'm sure when you were married you were as pure as the driven snow. You are, after all, a born-again Christian woman. I'm sure the reason I was such a wanton harlot was due to my Catholic upbringing. They don't call us the "Whore of Babylon" for nothing.

I openly admit that I didn't do things in the right order. I'm not proud that I got pregnant--twice--out of wedlock. I am, however, VERY proud of my children and my husband. Unlike Candy, I admit that I am a sinner and have made mistakes. I am not ashamed to admit when I am wrong.

With a great deal of prayer and repentance, perhaps I can someday be as perfect you are.

Motherofmany, I have posted Candy's "sin"

The Marriage Bed is Undefiled
How does one know if they are being godly in regards to relations with one's husband? I'm so embarassed to ask, but I want to be a helpmeet and a strong Christian woman but there isn't a lot of help out there that isn't worldly in this area. If it's not too indelicate, could you share some guidelines one of these days, please, Candy? I am not very far on my walk in the Christian faith (I got saved this January!) and I'm plunging in headfirst to your blog, which has taught me so much so far. - anonymous

That is a great question. When I was a new Christian, I struggled with that as well. What is appropriate, and inappropriate in the physical life of a married Christian couple? One of the hurdles both my husband and I had to overcome, was that we were both fornicators before we got saved and married. He had previous relationships involving fornication, and so did I.

For quite a while, we'd almost feel guilty when we'd have physical relations together, because in our pre-saved lives it was sin.

If this is something you are struggling with, take joy in knowing that when you got saved, God washed you clean from the sin of fornication, and all other sins.

What is right in the marriage bed? First off, there shouldn't be sick perversion, or pornography, as those are what the Bible terms "wicked imaginations." Perversions such as anal entry are forbidden, for that is sodomy, and that is not what that part of the body was designed to do.

Are we to take pleasure in physical relations with our spouse? Absolutely! Is it a sin to take physical pleasure with our spouse? Certainly not. Just read The Song of Solomon. That Bible book still makes me blush. In fact, you should read the book put out by Michael Pearl called "Holy Sex." It's a very informative book. The last I checked, you can get that book for 5 dollars from NoGreaterJoy.org.

Fornication (sex outside of marriage) is wrong. But, loving physical relations within a marriage is beautiful. Here's what the word of God says:

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. -Hebrews 13:4

The marriage bed is undefiled.

Next, what of being physical with one's spouse in marriage after children? Raising small children is hard, tiring, and rewarding. How is a wife supposed to have the energy to physically be with her husband after a day of cleaning noses, wiping peanut butter off of the ceiling (how'd that get there?!) chasing the wild bird that flew into the house through the front door that was left opened, etc.?

First off, it doesn't always have to be a heavily athletic event. :-? Next, it doesn't always have to last an hour. :-? If you can put out the energy to change a diaper, you can certainly put out the energy to love on your husband for 20 minutes, and he needs that. Now what about time - right? Get creative! If the kids are watching Barney, and your husband gives you that special look, then lock yourselves in the bedroom or even the bathroom, and enjoy your God ordained physical union!

Steal away to a room with a locked door together a few times a week, even if you have to plan it.

Ladies, you are not to with hold physical love from your husband, nor he from you. Did you know that? Take a look at this scripture:

Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. -1 Corinthians 7:3-5

NOTE: Under the Old Testament law, physical union during the wife's mentruation was not allowed, and considered seriously ceremonially unclean. Now, under the New Testament the marriage bed is undefiled, and menstruation will not make one ceremonial unclean anymore. However, it is still a good idea to agree to abstain during that time, as you are a wife who is "down for maintenance" for the week. There are other ways to make sure your man gets fulfilled during that week. ;-)

Do you want to keep your man ecstatically happy? Here's the secret:

1. Don't nag him!

2. Compliment him on his nice muscles (overlook the pot belly).

3. Compliment him often on his abilities and accomplishments. Stand by him and support him on his endeavors. Listen lovingly to him as he talks to you of work and hobbies, even if you haven't the foggiest idea of what he is talking about. Get, be, and stay interested in his work and hobbies. Seriously - he'll really respect you for it.

4. Keep his castle clean, and his belly filled with good food he likes.

5. Initiate physical union with him often. Let him know that it's hard for you to keep your hands off of him, because you love him so much.

Alright, that's the advice I have to offer. Take it or leave it. But do know that I have four young children, and my hubby and I have a dynamo marriage bed. :-P We are so in love, that it's indescribable. We still have pet names for each other, and we've pretty much invented our own language.

I LOVE being married! :-P

I would suggest no one here even bother engaging with Mother of Many.

The chip on her shoulder is larger than the cross Jesus carried. She is not allowed to converse at VTC for a reason. She is inconsiderate, offensive, derogatory, insulting and flat out impossible to deal with. Her way or the highway, folks. Worse even than Candy, if you can imagine that.

There is a history with her that most here are better off not even getting into. She'll drive by post and be as offensive as humanly possible, then turn around and question anthers' Christianity, and even bravery, since she has already gone the coward route.

Leave her to herself. She isn't worth the time or effort.

Especially if you're anything like me and don't believe as she does and have the nerve to question any of it (sound familiar?).

Not having a blog on the Internet apparently makes people cowards. Well, so be it. If a person is a coward for making a person choice, then there are more cowards in the world than not. In fact, MOM is just as much of a coward as I am, since she made the choice to have a personal web site. La. De. Da.

Even Candy doesn't defend herself as much as MOM does; it's like MOM made herself the one woman Candy army!

Good for her. I hope she is happy. But, I'd still recommend no one here bother engaging her in any conversation. It's not worth it. It really isn't.

Bruchetta for what is worth, I did. It did not get posted. I questioned the whole doctor and broken leg thing. I am all for not taking a child to the doctors unless there is a need. Obviously there was a need. I am also a worry wort when it comes to my children. But, that could come because I almost lost my daughter when she was a month old and needed emergency surgery and to my last child who has scarring on his lungs from a sickness he got as an infant. So, even the sniffles with one of my children would have me running let alone a fall and a suspected break. If there was an assumption of a break, that needed to be taken care of right away. You don't want for those things. Never ever..... My children are too far important to me then to allow them to go through pain.

I also had 2 children out of wedlock and was married 7 years ago the end of this month. I also had one of those children when I was 16. I also married a man that was divorced before. I am a heathen just like the rest of you.... GO figure.

I would like to know how I was possibly defending Candy more than she defends herself when I was discussing Elena.

As to Amanda, I was making a point. How did it feel to have your mistakes flaunted before you? There is a passage in both the Catholic Bible and the KJV (matthew 7:3-5), about making sure to get the log out of your own eye before pointing out the speck in another's. I never claimed to be sinless. Nobody is. That's just it- all these people writing childish things about others are just as guilty. I'm honest about my mistakes.

It reminds me of High School. I can't think of anything of consequence to say, so I will just call you a moron. I remember too that the kids who were picking on others were the ones most miserable with themselves.

Tia- give me a link to a comment I made that actually fits the description you have given here. Elena couldn't do it either. In fact, some of her loyal readers sent me private comments apologizing for what happened and saying they always thought I was respectful. My 'sin' was disagreeing. Elena has the right to block whomever she choses. But to be blocking people while whining about being blocked elsewhere is HYPOCRISY.

If people don't like you being blunt then they can leave...This is your blog!!!!!!
Blessings to you and your family, Joann"

This is the latest comment on Candy's blog. I tell you, I am so sick and tired of non-Catholics stating what I believe and how I practice my faith, I could just scream. What is it with these people? Do they somehow feel threatened by us? Why do they feel the need to constantly put us down and call us lost souls? That behavior, in my opinion, is really disgusting and quite un-Christian. If you don't like Catholic beliefs, practices, etc. then don't be Catholic, but stop telling me how wrong I am to be a Catholic.

Mothertomany,
How is doing what you are saying is wrong making a point? When you made your comment to Amanda it was insultful to not only here but anyone else here who has had a child out of marriage prior to being saved. If you want to quote Matthew 7: 3-5 maybe you yourself should take the log out of your eye. It is just coming across as hypocritical and actually making your point moot. My whole issue with Candy is how she comes across as having no compassion at all for anyone outside of her realm of belief. I have been respectful the entire time and commented to her questioning her. (I have even taken up for her here a few times.) My comments are either not posted or responded to by her husband in an entirely offensive way telling me that I should pray for my special needs child to be "healed".

motherofmany said...

Angie,

I am not a regular at Candy's blog, so I cannot say for sure what has transpired between herself and Elena. I can say from experience that it is next to impossible to discuss anythng with Elena unless you agree with her.

Cajunchic,

How is what you are doing any different that what Candy said that hurt you? You are seeking vengence, and that is the Lord's. We could all go around and say the same thing to one another. Being offended does not justify being vengeful.

I don't deny anyone the right to defend their faith. What is assinine about this whole thing is that people are offended and go off and try to top the offense in return. Didn't anybody here learn the whole 'two wrongs don't make a right' in school?

I weighed in on the whole issue because there is a 'movement' of sorts making Elena out to be a martyr and just as you all claim people defend Candy without knowing what she is doing in the com boxes, I see people defending Elena without knowing what she is doing in secret.

motherofmany said...

PS- How mean do you have tobe to attack a woman who just lost a baby? And you say Candy is unfeeling!

Ay Carumba! I've been away for a bit and come back to see that it's all kicked off!!
MOM, you and I had an exchange a little while back. My observation from that was that are a somewhat like a 'dog with a bone' in your dislike of Elena. It really eats you that some people cheer her on. You want them to know the 'real uncut' Elena.
I'm afraid such damning evidence as her banning you or your finding out that she said she 'doesn't like you' ( it seems that an email communication was inadvertantly sent on to you, if I understand you right) don't quite cut the mustard in terms of exposing skeletons in her proverbial cupboard.
It is simply unsupportable to claim that there is a movement making her out to be a 'martyr'. That is a handy foil as your motivation for 'exposing' her. It seems that she has riled you and you cannot let it rest.
Your behaviour renders your words somewhat ironic
"What is assinine about this whole thing is that people are offended and go off and try to top the offense in return. Didn't anybody here learn the whole 'two wrongs don't make a right' in school?"

Perhaps you should take some of your own advice here?

I percieved when we engaged that you are someone who MUST have the last word, which is why I gave it to you.
All of which gives me an insight into perhaps why you got banned from VTC, a site which, as evidenced by their comments, doesn't have a habit of coming down with a heavy hand on their naysayers. Unlike dear Candy in whose name we are all gathered.

Mother of Many:
I think you are missing a couple things about this blog: 1. This is not a Christain Blog, a Catholic Blog, or any other Religious Sect blog. 2. I have stated clearly the way I plan on addressing Candy and what outrages me about her. I don't plan on this site being for the "wishy washy" either. 3. I don't agree with the VTC and find they alter and moderate comments. It has some of the same issues that Candy has, but they have yet to condem someone's religion either.
Now I can see why you were banned from the VTC. I think you hold some of the virtues of Ginger. You are coarse, and as with Ginger, you will be treated in the same manner as you address. To call someone a coward based upon something on a blog seems ridiculous, and it comes across like you are trying to pick a fight. Is that the case? I enjoy fights, and the dirtier the better. The more personal you want to make it the better it is for me due to this is more my turf than yours. I love the way you talk out of both sides of your mouth. Arguing that two wrongs don't make a right (very Christian of you), and then not following your advice and calling someone a coward. This is the problem with most fundamentalist. You don't think the rules you apply to people are meant to apply to yourself. Thus you are a hypocrit.

Well, here's something for you to tear into me on. Although my children were conceived and born in wedlock, my Hubby and I "lived in sin" before we got married. Candy has attacked Elena and others....MOM has attacked Elena and Amanda and others here... does that mean their(Candy's and MOM's) Salvation is 'false" as well?? if the Holy Spirit would not allow a 'truly saved" person to do such things...does that mean they are not 'truly saved" as well???

or do these types of thoughts only apply to 'other' people...

motherofmany said...

Well, to borrow your pal Elena's own guideline, he who asserts must prove. Noone can showme where I said anything inappropriate in the discussions at VTC. I was doping what they claim to be doing- correcting false information about my faith.

Candy never addressed Amanda personally, either, yet Amanda has 'every right' to say what she feels about Candy. Everybody holds a double standard. My point was that it is he who has not sinned who should cast the first stone.

If Elena has the right to go after Candy because she is being 'fake', shouldn't Elena then be completely honest in her dealings? If you're going to have a fight, it should at least be fair. You allow being Catholic to serve as some kind of handicap. I have read many a comment lately about how Elena is at least charitable in her approach and someone said they would be almost willing to travel to Akron to take pre-cana classes from her. Based on what? Her attack of someone else. That is a terrifying thought.

Kitkat- I didn't miss you either.

Cajunchic- I have not gone back and read all of your comments here. Have gone back and read all the archives of VTC and Elena's blog? You are making your decision based on a small window of information just as I am.

Amanda,

I think that when Candy attacked my religion under the guise of "Christian Love", she attacked me.

I don't know if this is a fair statement. I do get that you could be offended by anyone, Candy, myself or any other person, who criticizes your faith. It is understandable but everyone is entitled to an opinion. I've, in discussion with friends and family, talked about many different faiths. I've pointed out flaws in them and I certainly, in doing so, don't put those flaws on the people who practice those faiths. For example, there are imo major issues with the foundation of the mormon church. I believe there are many Christian in the church but the teachings of the church are against what the Bible teaches. There are mormons that I truly LOVE. By my criticisms of their "church" I would hope they understand I am not attacking them as people. You are not a church. I do understand being offended and wanting to defend yourself but I don't think an attack on your belief system should be taken as an attack on you. Millions of people around the world disagree with what I believe to be true, based on my Christian faith and the Bible. I do not take those things personally. Even here on this blog when non-believers attack me and use my faith as a tool, it does not hurt me because I think they don't know any better. They don't know me and the person I am. Does that make sense?

Anonymous said...

I've, in discussion with friends and family, talked about many different faiths. I've pointed out flaws in them and I certainly, in doing so, don't put those flaws on the people who practice those faiths.

One question I have always had is this; why do people believe it is their job to point out "flaws" of another belief? YOU see it as a flaw, but the person practicing that faith most likely doesn't.

It is judgment. It is saying you know better than they do.

To me, that is arrogant, selfish and reeks of sin and pride.

I'm not saying this only to you, Kiara, I question this in every person who has ever questioned the faith of another person.

God is the only one who knows what is in the heart of a believer. Therefore, God is the only one with any right or authority to pass judgment or point out "flaws".

Nicole said...

I think it is only fair to let someone know when you see a big flaw in their religion as that is their eternal life that is being dealt with. However I think it needs to be done with compassion and love not by calling someone's church the whore of babylon or a cult. I also think that you need to wait for God's prompting for the right time. Once it is said and you have lovingly stated your opinion then it should be dropped and not brought up again.

You said that well. Too add to that in response to Tia, our Christian faith, in following the word of God, tells us to go out and share His word. In doing so, that would be teaching about false belief systems. It is then up to each individual to choose for themselves which path they will follow. How do you think people come to any religion, 99% of the time it is because someone TAUGHT them about it.

Kaira, you said:
By my criticisms of their "church" I would hope they understand I am not attacking them as people. You are not a church. I do understand being offended and wanting to defend yourself but I don't think an attack on your belief system should be taken as an attack on you.

I do understand what you're saying, and fundamentally, I do agree with you. But I'm only human. My faith and belief system is a very big part of what makes me me. Knowing that I shouldn't take it personally is easier said than done.

I, like Tia, do not believe that anyone should tell another person any flaw in their faith. I doubt most people find flaws in their faith or they wouldn't be in that faith. We all HOPE we are right and THINK we are right, but we don't know for sure. We all have to walk the path we feel is right and in the end, we all hope we are right. I would NEVER tell anyone else their religion is wrong. If they asked for my opinion, I would tell them my beliefs and we could go from there, but I do not believe it is intended for any of us to go around and tell anyone they are wrong. I believe spreading the gospel is to tell about Christ and that God is a loving God, not tell people they are wrong.

Too add to my last post, I think lost of people read and interpret the Bible differently.

Well, here's the other thing about analysis/cricitism/condemnation/whatever we call it of another's faith.....

Don't you think that one should be ACCURATE about what one is analyzing? If you are basing the criticism on misunderstanding (to be charitable) or distortions, or even lies, then it's not an accurate condemnation, is it?

And that's the big problem with KTH and her ilk...so much of what is said just isn't true. Just today in the comments over there, someone is talking about 'paying for Masses.' That just isn't so, and no matter how many times it is pointed out, the lie continues. Stop the lies, and maybe some of the pushback would stop.

To use Candy's blind man analogy - it's a bit like seeing a blind man who is about to walk off a cliff, and yelling at him to Get Off The Bus! It's About to Explode!
