I just saw today that Candy has decided to use her imagination and create an avatar figure. Now she not only blogs about a fake life, she is chatting "live" as a fake character as well. I am just wondering how this avatar thing is consistent with her disavowing anything to do with witchcraft, make believe, or magic? Why is it okay to have an alternate form of reality, but not watch Harry Potter? Is it because she has horrible taste in movies, and that projects itself on to her interpretation of what is right and wrong. I mean seriously put yourself in her shoes. You like the new Rambo and Rocky. I know it is hard, but just try and think about being excited about those two new films of old movies; anticipating their release and on the edge of your seat waiting to see which anti-patriots that Rambo is about to slit their throats. Or which non American that Rocky is about to be beaten to a pulp by, and then suddenly at the end he comes out on top. YO, Candy! Those are horrible movies.
An update of the spider bite. I think there are a couple of issues: 1) the pictures on her post are inconsistent. Just take a look at the pictures closely and you will notice that the hair pattern of both pictures are different. 2) who has that hairy of a hand? 3) why doesn't she update us on the progress with pictures? I also think that along with that not being pictures of anyone she knows, the idea that only 3 out of 100 people have bad reactions is due to 90% of people will seek medical treatment. They do not apply the backwoods, hill billy method of rub some dirt on it. I implore anyone that is bitten by a Brown Recluse seek medical attention from a doctor and not from your pastor, please.

This avatar is just another example of how Candy is always on the computer and all the things she says she does in a day are a farce. I would hate to see how uneducated her children really are due to the amount of time she spends on the computer and the kids clean and have quiet time.
And c'mon.. she lives in a mobile home.. I used to live in one myself and its not the end of the world but be honest, I once commented to her that she had a nice mobile home and would be post that?? No way.. she also wouldn't say "um, its not a mobile home" but I know exactly what they look like inside all the way down to the retro walls and tiny bedrooms and tiny closets and bathrooms.. and the way she and hubby have to share their room with two kids? I feel bad for those kids if they wake up during the night while papa and mama are making some babies... ewwww
She calls sex communial union or something like that. Yeah I love the library, which of course is nothing but a book shelf about 2 foot wide. I believe that is about the depth of her reading.
a communal union?? Ok, that is really, really weird.. almost cultish.. yikes!

Yes, she does live in a mobile home in _ __ _ _ _ _, OK. When you google the address---google has a picture. It is a mobile home on a corner lot. It is near a park that she talks about. You know the one when the father/son left when the Brauers entered the park. Ummm wonder why?
I need to go and make dinner and be subserviant to my husband because he is the king and protector of the house.
Joni, that was funny as heck!!
From:http://myblessedhome.blogspot.com/2008/06/how-i-came-to-be-dresses-only.html
What about working in dresses?
I don't wear aprons, as I just seem to be neat and clean. I clean with bleach, but I just never seem to get it on my clothes. I bake bread, but I rarely get flour on my dress, and when I do, it's wheat flour, so it brushes right off. If you are afraid of making your pretty dress dirty, then invest in a few good aprons. Here is one I think is so pretty:
I'm able to cook, clean, and even play baseball in a dress. If I think there is a possibility of my dress going up and exposing me, then I can always put some bloomers or shorts underneath. I don't own any culottes, but I'd consider getting some, if I did such things as horseback riding.
****
Interesting that someone who doesn't wear aprons owns at least two.
Candy is so full of herself. I do not know where she gets her high self esteem?
If I lived one day in the life of Candy Brauer...
Afterwards, I would check into the Ritz-Carlton for a week to recover.
BTW, VTC is an excellent blog and they only defend the Catholic faith. The writers amaze me with personal ethics and intelligence. They are good people. They do not allow hateful posts. OK, they are a little boring in that regards but that is OK. They have a mission. If Candy would stop her attack on the Catholic church, I think they would delete that blog.
Me on the other hand, likes this blog to vent and show the side that nobody knows.
My husband on the other hand, wishes I was more like Candy so we don't have to have a cleaning lady, yard service, interior decorator, pest control people (oh that is right, the Brauers do not believe in pesticides), resturant credit card charges, vacations...
My husband was astounded that I actually went to the grocery store today and had dinner on the table.
Be careful. Candy does study patterns of vistors. She has Halo scan. She probable has a white board and this is part of her homeschool education. You would not want your house retreived from google earth to land on her website. She actually did that to and she calls herself Christian.
Have you noticed how often she cleans out her van? Why does she tell us she is going to clean out her van. I never tell anybody that I am going to clean out my van.
Wait a minute, I don't have a van.
For awhile when they live in Colorado, they would tow abandoned cars to the house and Erik would fix them up and sell them. The zoning got upset with them and it is my understanding that is why they did the RV road trip to find a new home and church.
I must go fetch my husband a bowl of ice cream because I plan on spending his hard earned money that he did pay taxes on.
Oh Joni, you have me laughing so hard.. thanks!
I agree that VTC has got to do what they gotta do, what Candy did to Elena is wrong and not christian!
Elena did take the blog down for awhile when Candy stopped the Catholic bashing, Elena only opened it back up when Candy started again, I totally think Elena would close it for good if Candy would quit.. but Candy won't quit.. she is out to save souls ya know. I try not to look at her blog to much, she just irritates me and ruins my day, I never read the van stuff, that is so funny!
I haven't been on any of the blogs today and taking a break from it all. She deleted her old blog the past month. It was hilarious. It was called something genuine profit. At one point, she could not afford a dentist and she wanted to buy a dental drill and fill her own teeth. That is where the van stuff was. It was the blog with cat in the background.
It will be great when Ford Motor Company buys the patent on the no gasoline engine invented by Erik.
When this happens, they would not be unfortunate financially.
Will she still blog?
I am not even that faith-filled and her blogs against RC bothers me. I have learned a lot on VTC and find RC interesting.
I must go stir the buttermilk and clean out the van.
She wanted to buy her own dental drill and fill her own teeth??? That is insane.. oh my gosh, I wish she had not deleted those archives.. I would love to read that crazy stuff.. that is just freaky weird.
Actually the post came up if you google prayzgod. I remember reading she did eventually go to a dentist and paying off the bill.
On My Mind
TeEtH. That's my problem. I brush twice a day, and floss once a day. I rinse with Listerine to combat my Gingivitis. The Gingivitis is giving way to Perioditis, and my teeth are literally breaking as well. I also lost all of my fillings, except for half of one that's still in there. My teeth don't look bad to other people, but I know what's going on in my mouth, and I don't like it. :-(
I cannot afford to go to a dentist. Haven't been to one in over 10 to 11 years. I do have dental coverage with Procard, however it's not insurance, it's discount. And even with the discounts I can get, we still can't afford a dentist.
I will not go to one of those places that charge you according to how much money you make. I know some very nice people who take that route, but I will not. The reason is because that system is very unfair and snobbish. "So, you make 800 dollars a month? Okay, we'll fix you for 5 bucks. OHHH, you make 2000 dollars a month, (he he he) we'll fix you for 70 bucks.) Yeah, let's punish people who work hard for their money, by charging them MORE money for the same service that others get cheaper. Snobbery to the extreme. It's unethical, and unbiblical. It's a form of being a "respector of persons".
So, I'm trying to do ~home dentistry~. I keep my cavities clean. They are not that yucky black inside, they are white, and just look like little holes. And Thanks to Listerine, my gums no longer bleed from Gingivitis, however the Perionditis has receeded my gums enough that I have some loose teeth. :-(
I'm going to use Listerine more regularly, because I know it makes a difference. And I'm going to get some calcium type toothpaste from the store tonight. It's supposed to fill in damaged areas of enamel with calcium - when you use that toothpaste regularly. I'm going to see if it can slowly fill in my chips and cavities. I don't know if it can, but I'll look into it.
Now, I've been seriously looking for a dental drill, and that white filler (can't remember the name right now) that dentists use to fill cavities. Yes, I really do want to do my own dental work. Novacane? Nope, when I used to go to a dentist, I prefered no Novacane. I prefer the pain to that ucky numbness.
If any one has any helpful home dentristry type of tricks, please leave your suggestions in 'comments' below. If you think I'm nuts, then please keep that thought to yourself. :-P
Candy Brauer is a happily married housewife, mother of 3. She works from home for a medical benefits provider, and gives a large percentage of her work from home income to charity. You can view her webpage at http://www.genuineprofit.com, or call her at xxx-xxx-xxxx.
MY QUESTION: How can you give income to charity if you have no income?I am being a snob.I must go clean out the SUV
So, let's see.
Government providing services is forcing 'taxpayers' into 'slavery.'
But charity is mandated by God. (You know the theory; if we weren't forced into supporting the unworthy, we could all afford to help the poor as we see fit, yada, yada, yada)
So she finds a place with a sliding scale, which is a form of non-governmental charity. And REJECTS IT because it's 'snobby' and 'unfair.' Somehow it's 'punishing' people who 'work hard.'
But they still can't afford to get their teeth fixed, and that's somehow better?
Prideful /redacted bad name/
We ought to be glad that she never could find that drill. Can you imagine her home dentistry on the kids?????
HOLY CRAP! lOOK WHAT I FOUND ON EBAY!
Here is an early Renda foot operated, variable speed, electric dentist drill, made in England. I'm told this instrument was used by travelling dentists. It is in virtually as new condition, it comes with 3 different type clip on hand pieces and several boxes of different type drill bits. The machine runs on 240 volt power, 12,000 rpm variable, 1/10 hp. The motor can be bolted to a bench or wall but also has a ring for hanging. 2 of the hand pieces have a push/pull chuck mechanism, you put the bit in, pull the handpiece, this in turn grips the drill, the other angled handpiece has a geared head which takes different type drill bits. The flexible shaft measures 108 cm approx, from motor to drill tip with handpiece inserted. Chuck size on 2 of the hand sets is 2.5 mm. This machine and all accessories comes in original carry case. I'd say this machine would make an excellent collectable or even to use for engraving carving etc. See pics for detail.
oh wow, you better let Candy know she can now become a dentist, lol!!!
That is absolutely fantastic about her doing her own dental work. Yes she does live in a mobile home. I saw that on Google as well. She can even play baseball in a dress? Nutty and irrelevant at the same time. I have such a small concern for Candy posting my address that you could not see it with an electron microscope. I have nothing to hide what so ever. Personally I would love the attention and the ability to actually engage. Just her mentioning this blog would be wonderful. I am dying for the opportunity to have an in depth discussion, unedited, with some of her readers. I want them to pray, loathe, and acknowledge me. I don't need their acceptance. I don't want it, because if I got it I would have to do some serious soul searching for years. Can you imagine the plaque that has built up over a decade without going to the dentist? If your teeth are falling apart you are either dirt poor or a meth addict. I think that is what is in her locked closet. I think it is all consistent. She is ocd, her husband is good at making things (meth lab), her teeth are rotten, she has endless energy, afraid to go to the doctor or dentist (due to their ability to pinpoint drug abusers), and they are paranoid about the government. Yep, I have had friend succumb to meth, speed, crank, ice, or glass. All the same symptoms, and some of the same wacky behavior (aside from the buttermilk, etc.). Joni you need to tell your husband to lighten up a little. I think, without knowing you, that your husband would be well disappointed with a Candy clone. I think strong and independent are two of the most sexy attributes that a woman can have. I have dated a myriad of different women. From engineers, lawyers, and strippers I can honestly say that being beautiful and dumb really grows old after about a week. I can honestly say if you can afford to pay for someone to do those things then do it. Life is too short. If you don't have to occupy your life with menial tasks then don't. Use that time to be productive. Start a blog to bash some random stranger on the internet (I just noticed how I sounded so holier than thou, and needed to be self slapped back into reality). That is the problem with Candy. She is poor, and thus has a need to explain why you should be like her regardless of your financial situation. Screw that, she does all that crap because she is board. I would say if you read her blog more than three times a week that justifies a trip to the Ritz, a massage, and pedicure. Life is what you make it, and to not take this time to experience it, I believe, is a waste. Who knows who is right when it comes to religion. Hell, we all may find out in the end that David Koresh really was the son of God. I think that is why I have a hard time with Candy. Religion is a personal journey. I feel like the Bible has been written, re written, and interpreted so many times that there is a lot of omissions and additions to justify whom ever was writing it at the time. I feel that Christianity (regardless of what denomination) is a wonderful, loving, caring, and happy religion. I don't believe Jesus was all fire and hell. I think the path to what ever is a personal one, and not one that can be dictated by a woman in a trailer. I personally believe that the path to salvation is one that is complicated and difficult, and requires focusing on yourself and not that of others. Judgment is reserved for the Creator, and not to fallible humans.
for some reason I typed board instead of poor. So when I said she does all that stuff because she is board I meant "poor"
P.s. another way to know that Candy lives in a trailer: look at the pictures of her home. You will see the heating and cooling registers (the grates that air comes out to cool or heat your home) are on the floor. Since there are no attics in a trailer the ac ducts have to be under the trailer. Since all homes have attics the Heating ventilation and cooling system is always in the attic, unless you have a heating furnace in the floor, but that usually means you have a swamp cooler on the roof. I have a pretty in depth knowledge of home building.
I agree that her house looks very much like a trailer, but some older houses have a/c vents on the floor too. When I was a kid my grandparents lived in an older house like that.
Of course, there's absolutely nothing wrong with living in a trailer, and Candy does a good job organizing it and making it homey. However, the least she could do is admit it if it's true - nothing to be ashamed of!
Oh boy has anyone taken a look at some of the websites of Candy's followers? Yikes! You know what they remind me of? Anyone familiar with the Stuart Larkin character on MadTV? This grown adult plays the part of a rosy-cheeked preschooler with a soft, high-pitched voice, he comes off as being all sweet and innocent but he's really a brat. When something makes him mad (or he doesn't get his own way) he goes to his "dark place" and starts talking in a deep, demonic voice. It's hilarious. Anyway you go to these webpages and they're all fluffy and cute with little teddy bears and kittens all over the page, but then when they want to talk about the "whore of Babylon" or they have something special to say to Catholics - watch out!
Exactly, to paraphrase it is like "hi welcome, come on in friend, sit down, take a load off while I get you some tea and jerk out your heart."
There are a couple of things to think about when you say that older homes have ac vents in the floor: (1) depending upon the age of the home most ac systems that are not central air will be swamp coolers which go on the roof, (2) are you sure those were not the heating vents? usually there is a floor furnace that supplies heat through the system. (3) builders try and avoid putting the ducts under the home due to critters, and if it is not pier and beam then placing the acs through the floor would be impossible. I know more about new home construction than older homes, but I know that it is pretty rare to have the ac going through the floor because cool air falls and hot air rises so it makes for a very inefficient practice. I could be wrong though.
I am with you though about there is nothing to be ashamed about living in a trailer. There is something wrong with being proud of your home, but not telling the truth about where you live. That to me sounds incredibly strange.
Well, I have no knowledge about home construction - just telling what I remember as a kid. I definitely remember vents on the floor, because I was freakin' scared of them (thought I would fall in or something would reach out and grab my ankles). I thought I remembered cold air coming out of those vents, but I could be wrong, maybe it was heat. They lived in a very nice older section of the city, that was marked as "historical" by the state.
We have central air upstairs and downstairs ...two separate units....the vents are in the floor downstairs and in the ceiling upstairs...
