New topic people!!! This is a quick post and I have no time to proofread, so be easy! I am the third commentator.
So, I decided to see what a Meez party was all about. After finally getting in last night, due to overcrowding, I see eight people. Count them…..eight. It seems that is the limit she allows. Two of the eight happened to be Erik and Candy. Pick yourself up please from the shock. Candy was dressed in a purple, sleeveless “look at me” dress and I believe she had “look at me” hair too. They were side by side dancing. Candy would constantly use the remote for new music. Some lady was next to Eric and wouldn’t shut up for two seconds. She was going on and on about how she wanted her husband saved and asking Erik a thousand questions. It was borderline “hitting” on his Minutemann’s meez. Then, Erik and Candy start line dancing “rock” style. That had to have been the funniest thing I have ever seen. Their meez were throwing themselves around and gyrating and I know there is nothing in the KJV that condones that behavior. After that, Candy kept shouting different phrases. One was “consume us in your cleansing fire!” Then, someone came in and said, they were saved from being a Mormon and Candy responded how happy she was because Mormons have ties to Wicca. Seriously, Candy….Wicca? That woman is so off her rocker. Amanda showed up (not ours) and Erik and Candy started praising her. They told her how much respect they had for her for telling it like it is. Amanda just soaked it all in and thanked them so much. One meez started crying because the spirit was moving in there. The only religious thing I saw the whole evening was youtube religious videos. I seriously doubt any teenagers showed up either. If you have not been to a praise party, you must see one. It is worth the wasted time.

Okay, so I go in Candy's room and she says that she got an email from that Sheez girl saying I said that she didn't like Catholics... I literally laughed at her and asked if she had fun in Sweeping's room.. she didn't answer.
She asked me why I didn't like her. I said that I thought she was close-minded.
Then, Erik jumps all over my salvation. I tossed a couple verses at him... Matthew 7:1 to be exact. And, said that I didn't need to answer to him about my salvation experience.
She asked me why was I posing as her friend in the room. I said that I never said that I was her friend or wanting to be her friend but that I was just in there to observe.
AND THEN SHE BANNED ME!!!...

I made my own room complete with videos. I could not fall asleep since hubby brought me a coffee from his outing.

I just cannot BELIEVE that she ACTUALLY posed as someone else and came into Mandy's room and then had the GALL to ask me what I'M doing in her room! How fricken stupid can a person be?
And, then, trying to lie and say that the girl emailed her... WHATEVER!
But, let me tell you, it was fun as anything giving her some of the coldness I've seen her give others.
You have no IDEA the kind of joy I got telling her that I wasn't her friend and not even trying to be.
That was just fulfilling.
So, Candy, when you read this... and I know you will... if you wanted dialect, honey, why did you kick me out of your stupid little room?
You didn't give me a chance to learn anything outside of what I've obviously observed.
I mean, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

Wow, there is a lot going on here... I just stopped by to let you all know that I'm in Mandy's room, and would like to chat with any of you, live, who would like clear this whole mess up. I'm not a Catholic hater.
Meahwile, I left a PM for Mandy, explaining my deception, and I appologize if it offended anyone. I wanted to see what the atmosphere of the room was, before I came in as myself. I'm in there right now, if anyone would like to chat. I really am not the person you all portray me to be. :-)

Well, I won't bother you all in these comments any further, but just wanted to say "thank you," to those who stopped in that room to talk with me. It really meant a lot to me.

Hee hee... so she comes clean over here about her little "deception", but acts as if this is the first time she's been over here. I didn't go to her mend party. I saw her comment before leaving, but frankly I was tired and at that point, wasn't really interested into going into round 2 with little Ms. How-Great-I-Am.
This should be an interesting weekend of comments.

In her defense, I will say that she did was polite to me last night, despite my name advertising my heathenism (I mean, Catholicism). She and wunderhubee did try several times to bring up that it was a cult, and she questioned my salvation thoroughly, but she was relatively nice. It seemed important to her that I realize she doesn't hate Catholics, so there ya go.
I will say though that she and wunderhubee are more dense than I thought if they couldn't pick up on the mockery last night.

Ummm, OK. Did anyone read Candy's post about her meez cyber church service yet? I mean, weren't we joking around recently that she was going to do this? Anyone find is extremely bizarre that she actually DID it???
Meez cyber church is perfect for her. She won't even have to get out of the house Sunday morning. She can make each of her children a meez character and they can all go to meez cyber church together.

All I know is that I was getting ready to respond to something that Erik said right after I responded to Candy saying pointing out that she jumped on me first when she went into martyr mode, and then everyone vanished and it said I was kicked out of the room. I literally... honestly sat back in my chair, laughed OUT LOUD, because I thought it was so funny that I had been kicked out.
I assumed that I had been banned, because I assumed that she blocked my avatar.
Later, I tried to go back in, got in, but she wasn't there. And, then thought - "Eh, it doesn't even matter anymore." and left.
And, thank you, Amanda.
It was truly my pleasure. Trust me. ;o)... wait, no, LOL...
Clarification: I pointed out to her that she jumped all over me first AFTER she went into martyr mode.
She was like, "What are you doing here? Why are you being this way?"

My guess of the fact that I was able to go back in was either because a) I wasn't truly banned as I thought I was or b) Erik scolded her for kicking me out as he had just said something about "helping me"... yeah, like I'm going to Mr. Minuteman for help... uh.. no.

For the record, it didn't offend me - I knew it was her anyway - but really I don't care. I find it kinda funny. I'm not going to apologize to anyone for saying my name is Mandy and that I have long dark hair and dance with snakes.

I couldn't help myself from chuckling at that when I first read it, and yes, I did think of Mandy... and her snakes.
Well, that was an exercise in futility.
So we had a talk with Candy. I asked her to specifically point out a vile or untruthful thing that I said about her, here. SIX TIMES.
She finally came up with (that *I* specifically said) that I said her bread recipe had 4 T of yeast (I would swear it did, but now it says a more normal 2T yeast) and also took issue with me calling one of Candy's friend's websites "not a candy clone". I think there was something else, but I can't remember right now...
She said that simply posting on this site was enough. It links me to other vile things, even if I never said anything vile.
It's not my site, I can only control my own comments.
My email is always open if anyone has any questions about Catholics.
Oh, and I also MANY MANY MANY times asked HER to address the comment where in she called me a liar. MANY times. Finally she told me that she needed the URL.
I provided it to her. Several other people in the room said they could see the comment and find it. She said she could see the comment and would look at it.
It's still there.
I invited Candy to swing by my website and check out this post and she said she would.
I mentioned we had lots in common, named off about 6 specific things. No comment back from her. I wonder if she really does want to be friends, as she claims?
She could not tell me what specifically *I*, Milehimama, have posted that is untrue and vile. She did not remove the comment I asked her to.
She repeatedly "forgot" questions asked and claimed she didn't know what people were talking about.
She asked why we didn't come directly to her. She told us that her old "contact me" button was a form that did not go to her email. She did not answer the question I asked repeatedly - how can we contact her when she can't keep up with her comments, gets too many, and deletes email as spam if she doesn't recognize the sender?
I didn't ask why my comments (although I haven't commented there since this site came up, I just openly post my comments and questions to her) were ignored, but others talking about Catholics and the Mafia, for example, made it through.
I'm not sure Erik was really into the conversation. He kind of had his own... "agenda". I did not have any real conversation with him.
And, I'm totally getting Milehimama Meez a new dress - and not because it's itchy.
Oh and when I was in her room initially, she seemed cool with everyone... was doing her little dance and changing YouTube flicks.
It wasn't until after she played her little masquerade game and I came back to her room that she didn't take long to focus on me with, "Have you read my blog?".. I responded, "I've read it, yes." And, then, "What do you think of this room?" I said, "Cool". Then, she went into the crap about how she got an email from the Sheez person yada yada yada... and you know what happened next...
Do any regular readers of this site see any comment I made that is untrue and vile? I will take care of it, if true.

Candy, you are are liar. You spread terrible misinformation about the Catholic Church, and refuse to accept correction on the lies you tell. From where I sit, you hate Catholics, and saying that you love us doesn't magically turn a lie into the truth.
You are rending and tearing and wounding the Body of Christ by your actions.
And I'm not surprised you don't like it in here - it must be nasty to have all your lies constantly dissected all the time.

Milehi, I haven't noticed any, to be honest. She is just trying to suck you into her little mind-control, self-righteous game. It's her MO. Don't even think anymore about it, sweetie, because her accusations are not valid.
She LOVES to play the martyr after she attacks someone. She'd be the type who'd be in war and shoot someone and then go, "Why are they shooting at me???"

Honestly, for someone so hell bent on preaching about salvation, she doesn't seem to know what the word "repentance" really means.

It is interesting that she considers my comments vile and untrue (even if she cannot find a specific instance) when I very often post Scripture verses and self deprecating things.
I would love to correspond with her regarding specific Scripture verses, but sadly I don't think it is possible.

I went through agonies as I converted. I read all this "Catholics worship Mary" crap, sweating blood and bullets as I did, and I went to my Bible and to the Catechism, and my priest, and I found answers to my questions that satisfied my heart, soul and mind. And I tell you, if my mind hadn't been satisfied, I'd still be sat on the banks of the Tiber, wistfully dipping a toe in now and again.
I found the Christ I love with all my heart and soul, and I found Him in the Catholic Church, not in the Baptists or the Methodists or the Anglicans, and believe me, I looked there as well.

One of the few slightly relevant things Erik said was about "worshipping Mary".
He said something along the lines of, "I was wasting my time, because Mary is asleep and won't wake up until the rapture".

Do you think he really thinks that everyone that has died is "asleep" and not in Heaven? That is a twist of Funamental theology I haven't encountered, but suddenly some other things I've come across make sense if seen in the light of the saints aren't in Heaven yet.

I think many, many converts convert because Catholicism is reasonable (intellectually true and provable)
Not because they are emotionally overcome or because it is easy.
Looks like if you get the small wooden table or the dorm table, it comes with the little remote for the YouTube videos.
I made my room with that and after I saved it learned that you can't edit it after you make it, but I'm assuming that if you get the radio or something like that, you can get music.
You'd have to create a new room and build it with the stuff to be able to do music and videos.

this is pretty much along the lines of what Jehova's Witnesses believe....that the dead are all asleep in their graves....they beleive that most people will never ever go to heaven, only a select few....the 144,000 to be exact....and that the rest will will "wakeup" when the 'new world" is here...then some will perish forever(after judgement) and the rest will live forever in a perfect world...

If you can CHOOSE the preachers and sermons at your church, why would you not chooose preachers that hold the same Biblical view as you do?
Candy, that is an open question to you. Why do you continually promote preachers and teachers that do not believe the same thing as you, and in the case of Dake, teach outright heresy?

The whole thing last night with Candy was pointless. No matter what I said I was vile and disgusting. Oh yeah and not a christian because I partake in gossip. I found it rather amusing that she invited us to go to apologize and then had all her friends with her.

But she posts "the Two Babylons". Which links to page after page of falsities.
I think "falsities" is my new favorite word.
Oh, and I think I found the origin of the wax candles are evil Catholic inventions idea. It's in there.
The Two Babylons also decries depicting Jesus Christ with an image of fire on His heart (Catholics would recognize this as the Sacred Heart), which was an image on Candy's screen in the Meez room (Candy's) last night.
Be aware, it's a tough read, since the author didn't use paragraph indentation.

And, she lied. So, does that not make her a Christian? I mean, if we're going to get technical.

The people in the room were Cajun, myself, Ginger, Candy, Wunderhubee, bitterbrush(not sure who she was) and Ginger... MomofTX was in for a little while but I don't know who she was either. And WVCountryroads was there too.
Minnesota Mom came in, she was a Lutheran, and didn't want to ask any questions because she thought Candy was too defensive.
I advised her to ask while she could, since Candy loses comments and deletes emails. I'm not sure she got all of her questions answered.
MinnMom seemed to think we were all Catholics ganged up on Candy and was surprised to find out *I* was the only Catholic in the room.
When anyone would come in, Candy would immediately ask them "Are you for Candy or against".
When I first entered the room, the first thing she asked me was "Anything you want to get off your chest?" or something to that effect.
She was, indeed, defensive. Before anyone attacked her.

That sounds like the AG church down the street. They are KJV, and quite conservative, compared to other AG churches I've visited.
However, the one down the street is ~very~ small. They have maybe 30-50 members, from what I could tell when I visited them. They have no children in there church, so no children's programs - which was fine with me, since I wouldn't have put my children into the youth programs anyhow. :-)
The AG church down the street is my second choice church, should something happen with the church I attend right now.

Hi everyone, I'm MinnesotaMom.
I just wanted to clarify that I've been reading this blog for a little while now, and I haven't commented because, well, I just haven't. However, I'm extremely thankful that I DID find this blog, because it's been incredibly helpful to me. I wasn't on the line of becoming a candy-head, but I was starting to get into the mindset of "why aren't I able to accomplish all that this woman does? I only have one kid. My husband does more than his fair share around the house. I must not be trying hard enough!" Putting aside my major discomfort at some of her beliefs, what her writings were starting to make me think about my shortcomings as a wife and mother quite frankly freaks me out now.
I could go on for hours about that, but I don't want to take up too much space on here. Anyway, thank you all for helping me get my perspective (and my sense of humor) back!

Milehi...I'm quite obsessive with the Candy Crap (it's almost scary) and I've got quite the file filled with previous Candy comments. I remember the one you posted, and I have it saved too. Among many others, I also have a disturbingly mean comment she made about her own mother when she was living with Candy in 2007.
It's interesting what Candy considers "Christian." Apparently exaggerating, outright lying, and gossiping is A-OK. Being Catholic is not. Nor is being agnostic.
If you don't know her god exists, or you're just not sure about the existence of a god, even if you do everything that your conscience tells you is "good", Candy is sure that her god is sending you to hell.
So, an agnostic person can do "works", can take care to be truthful and fair, help the needy, etc., but none of that matters. In the end, that person might as well be a rapist and murderer. They're going to the same place. Not where the lying, manipulating, gossiping Candy will be spending eternity!
It's a strange thing to me that people choose to believe in a god who draws that kind of an inhumane line. It's strange to me that people choose to take a book literally and draw that kind of conclusion from the book, even while knowing that many others have read that same book (including ACTUAL scholars) and have drawn different conclusions about what it means. If other people have drawn different conclusions from that same book, then Candy's conclusions can't be completely obvious; she must have made a choice somewhere along the line.
And she chose this very scary belief in a god who can read the minds and emotions of all people and yet tosses most of them into an awful eternity.
(And probably some other people here have the same belief; I don't mean to be rude, but it just baffles me.)
The KJV choice is trivial IMO compared to the choice to believe in a god who would send so many basically imperfect (as supposedly designed by that same god) but basically good people to hell. I think I know the argument she would use and it doesn't make any sense to me, otherwise I would suggest she do a blog post.

I did ask WunderHubbee last night why a God who could do all couldn't speak to me through an imperfect Bible translation, but of course, didn't get a response. Instead I was told that he wanted to read the words that God would say if he spoke English. You know what, WunderHubbee? I'm pretty sure that if God came down from heaven today, he would not be speaking King's English. And for that matter, if you do believe that that's how God would talk, then why aren't you speaking that way?
I have to ask, though, did Candy really not see all this coming? When she had the brilliant idea for "CyberChurch", did it truly not occur to her that all the people she's been pissing off an alienating for all these years might pop in and finally give her a piece of their mind? Golly, couldn't the Holey Speerut have told her on one of her 18 times through the Bible? Why didn't her prophet tip her off?
And why didn't she remember us openly mocking the idea of a cyberchurch?
I like to think of her mind-set as just ignorance, IMO, and a fear for opening up the mind to think that God works beyond limited mortal thinking.
The danger in that mindset is getting to the point that you think that you're immune from falling. And, that's a DANGEROUS place to be.
Oh and everyone stand by for the posts about martyrs-in-history as a sly comparison to herself. I wouldn't be surprised if she digs out "Fox's Book of Martyrs", as well for her reference material.
My guess is that she's already taken this approach with her friends in private conversation.
I'm predicting the public posts in the coming weeks.
I never got to homeschool so I don't know that much about how it works. I noticed that Candy included 'delight directed' studies as part of her curriculum. I think people can have different opinions on it and I wouldn't have known which way Candy would have gone. But to me it sounds like a good addition, and I think it's cool that Candy does that.

If that was 'church,' I can see where the shallowness of her beliefs comes from. Oooh, laminin has three short and one long chains. Whoopdeedoo. And Kirk Cameron thinks satanists are evil. Some woman from the eighties thinks that the KJV is great.

Sadly, though, I missed the part about how she doesn't tell lies, and how she can't be responsible for materials on her links. What a load of hooey.
Well, since she finished reading Mansfield Park is working on her second time through of Lucifer Dethroned, I definitely see quite a few of those posts in her future!
I hope the "delight" part refers to what her son likes learning, and not what Candy likes teaching.
OTOH I sent in a comment about the link she posted that she is using for family devotional, My Utmost for His Highest. I'm amazed she is reading that to 1 yr and 3 yr and 5yr olds. It's totally not written for kids. Even for the 8 yr old, seems like a huge stretch. Maybe she reads it out loud and then translates the ideas into kid versions. And maybe it's good for the vocabulary to hear the words even if they don't mean anything. But still, it seems like most of the language and the ideas would be incomprehensible to them.

I was at the Meez party for a little while. I was there before Candy was, and a few other familiar faces were there too.
Candy arrives and the first thing she says is, "So, are you here to cause trouble?" Strange...since even when I wanted to beat my head against the wall in STH's room talking to her I didn't "cause trouble"!
Then I had to go finish watching season 3 of Entourage with my husband. Priorities, you know!

You just have no idea how completely broken-hearted I am to have missed Candy's Meez party.

I was in the praise party last night along with milehimama. I have to say that Ginger (nymama) and Candy (prayzgod) were unbelievably nice to me. I chatted with pretty much everyone there.
There was one woman, however, that was just horrid. She want by the name iheartmykids. She was rude from the second I came in the room, called me a liar, told Ginger not to talk to me, accused me of all kinds of things. All this went on before Candy came in the room, and I have the transcripts to prove it.
I had posted them up here last night, but then took them down because there was really only one person who was rude and the transcripts took up a lot of space.
Anyway, I'd love to find out who this "iheartmykids" is. She claims to be a Christian, but she wasn't acting very Christlike. I felt like asking her, "WWJD?", but then I thought that would just make her even more mad, so I left it alone. Let her gripe and complain and be vile in the corner, I don't care. As long as she stays away from me!

I think Candy is one of those people who likes to be the victim. Everything in our conversation the other night was look what you have done to poor little me. She kept saying "are you for or against Candy?" Then she would spout off random things that we had supposedly done most of which milehi and I were not involved in.
Milehimama, you can copy and paste everything that's in the chat window. It's really easy. Just copy it all and then paste into word.
At least, that's how I did it.

A lot would most likely be many postings in a day. You could say, I've been here alot in the past 2 hours - prior to that - not so much. I used to come here "a lot" - not so much anymore.
As for whether or not I was acting like a Christian? I don't know any Christian women who toss that saying out there, it always seems to be made by non-believers. A Christian knows that we are far from perfect, we don't act godly at all times. I need not justify myself to you. I'm an imperfect person, who is thankfully forgiven daily for a whole mess of things.

Yes, I'd agree with that - and if anyone asked me I'd have gladly said I have participated here. I'd say that Ginger is from here too. All of us, that's why I don't see the need to lie. I didn't even ask that question for personal - I think Ginger did and I repeated it later, as if, "was 'this' the question you are asking about" - it's hard with all those bubbles to know who is talking to who. you know? Anyhow, I would agree wholeheartedly that from CIC or "the anti site" doesn't make someone "bad". There are a few people here who I have come to enjoy - I just don't come here much because it all has gotten incredibly repetitive and not at all (overall) "thinking on that which is good". Hope that makes sense. :)

I emailed Ginger about this, and she confirmed that she had been sharing the emails with you. I am very hurt and disappointed by this, and I have since deleted her from my contact list and I will no longer be emailing her. I have no time for such childish games. Well, Erik said that 95% of people who think they are saved, are not actually saved.
Considering OSAS is a small minority of Christianity, and Christianity itself is not the only religion in the world, that makes the number of the "truly saved" according to the Brauers very small, indeed.

The "are you saved?" question has been asked a few times in my presence (not to me, but others in the conversation) and those asking are usually the so-called "Saved" Christians. I don't have to put on my God suit and say all the trendy God quotes and listen to all the trendy God music to others that God is the leader of my life. If God wants to reveal Himself through me, He does, but that's Him and NOT me.
It irritates me when anyone acts so irreverent about Him. He's GOD, people, and that's what I want to scream at them.

Then I had to go into the spill of Church tithings are a part of FREE handouts, which they are against. Then he said, "Uhh.. didn't they say family, friends and CHURCH should support you? What about that free formula she talks about? How does the church buy that? With tithing from the people who attend church, that's how." I said, "Now you see the cycle!" To which he responded, "People like that are crazy, and yall are wasting your breath. And they call themselves SAVED??"
